The agreement to transfer power is different than actually transferring power. That takes place about 2 weeks later.
oh I really like Nialls. The first liberal on rising that can stand by his convictions (which I do not share) and not devolve into name calling, hysteria or smug dismissal. *chef's kiss*
Yeah he's a good guy. Misguided at times, but always respectful.
I don't like the intro as much as the old one....
Niall can’t possibly believe that a shirtless guy wearing buffalo horns came dangerously close to overturning the US election.
I love the fact that these guys can have a respectful conversation about something they are both so passionate and opinionated about. This should be shown to kids/teenagers in school to demonstrate how to have a logical and respectful debate.
Not only did she compare it to the Holocaust, she said the Holocaust is part of American history in her quote. In other words, she included the Holocaust as one of the worst things in American history
The United States Capitol cannot be invaded by its own people. The Capitol belongs to it's people, not the government.
They went there to make their voices heard because the courts weren't hearing them, Congressmen and women weren't hearing them and it is the #1 thing the CONSTITUTION ALLOWS... is to PETITION THEIR GOVERNMENT!!!
He's starting to sound like Nomiki
Same people that say you'd need F16s to take on the government also claim a bunch of unarmed trespassers can also overthrow that same government?
The problem with Niall is he can’t fathom a country where democracy lives within the people and their spirit. not buildings, symbols & ceremonies. That’s the difference between US and UK. Those things are important to Americans but not Sacred.
The right to protest to voice the people's will is the very purpose of a protest. Niall argues that basically people should bow down and say nothing when they disagree with the government. Those people were demanding Congress to make sure the election was fair and counted correctly. They weren't demanding to unconditionally reinstate trump. He contorts the protest dramatically
