I can understand when you said you wanted to stare on your baby, when I had my son I didn't sleep for weeks I was just excited and scared at the same time being a first time mom. Even at nights I wouldn't turn off the lights I would just watched him but I was so tired eyes burned but I didn't care I was so happy and grateful. Now he's 1 year and he's so handsome ❤. My have times changed. I am 54, I had 3 natural births no epidural my first two births my daughters were in the 6lb range and my third daughter was 8lbs 7oz she caused me to tear had to get two stitches but they had these pads that were like ice packs. I never experienced postpartum problems after my pregnancies.
I am very happy for KennaDee and Chase lest not forget Kobie Bear.

I have a question about postpartum and if you feel comfortable so my question is does it hurt when postpartum?

During postpartum never be afraid to ask for help. It’s ok to and no one will ever think less of you especially if you’re a first time parent. I was lucky enough to live with my parents when we had our son and it was a huge help. My parents never overstepped but were always there ready and willing if I ever needed anything. I had a really bad scare a month after my son was born and I was so grateful my parents were there to help us not only take care of me, I hemorrhaged and it scared my husband and I to death. My husband was so worried I’m thankful my dad was there to drive us to the hospital so my husband could focus on our son and I. Thankfully everything ended up being ok with me and with some medicine and rest I was back to myself but it was scary nonetheless. With my second baby I torn REALLY bad so I know how your feeling and ice was my best friend for quite a while. I truly think all of these things were huge signs that I just needed to slow down and take care of myself as well as the baby, which was hard for me to do. I’m so happy for you and Chase!! There is no better bond with your spouse, in my opinion, then right after you meet your baby for the first time 🩵
