Your great, great grandmother sounds like a bit of a rebel for her time...I love that! How very cool to see some of your ancestors homes.

@shelleigh5993 Quite a daring women to plan and execute those charitable deeds. I would have loved to go inside that house.

My knowledge of family homes only goes back to the 40s when my parents were kids. Prior to that I have no knowledge. Red Hill, Redcliffe, and Sandgate were the early places. I think mum was out at Coochie Mudlo for a little while. Not quite sure...

@Brad Griffin my childhood home was demolished years ago, so it's nice to know that eat least one family home is still standing. Hope you've been well and busy getting back to your old life.

Channel-billed cuckoos calling generally means storm season has arrived. Been no rain down there yet, has there? 😱

It practically rained every day for 4 months straight. It’s stopped the moment Rob arrived. 😝

@@AlphaGeekgirl Ah that was just the locals giving the place a spruce-up so the old cockroach den would look good for Rob's photo shoot! 😜🙃

Bummer.. just when I decide to go to London (after you inspired me), you decide to go to Sydney and stay right across the road from my place.

filming homeless people & post to youtube can get you into trouble visa vie invasion of privacy Especially when they are asleep..

@Patrick Phair Not correct. As long as the person doing the filming is on a footpath, road, park or other public space, they are free to film whatever they want. Even homeless people.
