There's speculation that the real reason these movies are made is that they're a front for a money laundering operation. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but this sounds plausible, given the type of individual Segal is.
He hasn't made a movie in 4 years. And with him pledging allegiance with and to Russia recently, I don't see him moving back to America to make more.
I love how seagal puts on the same uniform for every movie. He even rocks his “spec ops” wardrobe towards the end. 💀

I've noticed a pattern in these movies where there always is a younger, more physically capable actor who's actually in shape and can fight, but he's always either:
-killed
-betrays Waddle Seagal
-Has to admit that Waddle Seagal is cooler than him
-Was always the bad guy
If that isn't the saddest projection ever, I don’t know what is.
There has to be actual action in the movie, but it's a Seagal movie, so someone else has to do it. But Seagal is also that super badass, so the guy who does stuff can't be better than the penguin

This was in the glory days when they were still made in the U.S. and even had some recognizable co-stars. Now he makes them in places like Romania and uses CGI made on a Commodore 64.

I tried to watch one of Seagal's movies recently and it was physically impossible, it was so unbearable. Space Ice makes Seagal awesome; which makes Space Ice an international hero.
And you've got to admire the stoicism of the man Ice, no one else could actually watch one of these and translate it into something entertaining to boot!

I watched "Born to Raise Hell" to review for my podcast. That was one of the worst decisions I ever made in my life.
Seagals first 5 movies, early in his career, were great films. I admit, he kinda fell off though. At least he started out good...give em a little credit....im just sayin🙄

One thing I’ve learned from your channel is, whatever happens at the beginning of a Seagal movie doesn’t matter and is never mentioned again.

I can proudly say I've never watched any Seagal movies, but I have this sneaking feeling that the Space Ice reviews are 10,000 times more entertaining.
The last of his I watched was about 200Ibs ago.
I grew up watching old Seagal movies, but I think the last one I ever watched was Half Past Dead and it was what made me go "Okay... no more." I actually liked his older stuff, like Fire Down Below and Marked For Death
