Hello. For everyone who has still problems: You can also mandate in settings a game to be opened as asministrator. This helped me. Once it opened, I delisted the "administrator" checkbox, as I figured it was not necessary any more.
It was the user variables! I have modded battlefront before, and I figured out that was the problem for battlefront years ago, but I forgot how to get to it or what it was called. I had a suspicion that weird series of steps would also affect other EA games, and once you shoed the step I immediately remembered thats what it would probably be. after days of trying to figure it out, you are the first person to make a guide with more in depth and legit fixes than just "run it as an admin"

Did as instructions, after restart tried to open Battlefield 5 and same problem is there, i press play and the launcher hides but the game doesnt open, the launcher just pops back up on the screen. Anyone have same issue or fix on this? Tried reinstalling, repairing, cache deletion etc.
@@leonardomigliorin260 I managed to fix it a while ago. I went into "add or remove programs" in settings, you'll see list of all apps you have. Go find the microsoft visual c++ and press the three dots on the side and press 'modify', then repair. Do this for all visual c++ app you have. I really hope this works for you. Fixing EAs broken games is a painful experience.

The app has always launched, but it doesn't load anything further than a blank screen saying EA at the top, with the menu. I've looked everywhere and there's apparently no fix for millions of people, and only a handful of people have actually had theirs fixed. If you know of a solution to make it so the EA app itself loads what it's meant to, please let me know because I've tried every option you can find on google, and nothing has worked.

I followed what you said, up until you started to explain how to trash EA desktop and electronic arts and didn't do anything else after that, restarted and I was able to sign into EA right away which allowed me to update the game I was trying to play (i.e. Apex Legends). Thank you thought I had to reinstall or worse that this UA-cam video wouldn't solve the issue of EA showing up in taskbar but not loading in window.

I had same problem. Maybe your EA app is still open? Because after that happens I closed the EA app in tab bar and tried doing it again and it worked. Maybe tru doing that? Thanks for posting . Ill try it. I found these also work works with EA Games. One way I get origen to work is to go off line. But if I found in EA game if it wont load my game I go to the top left of EA games I press the thee lines I then go down to exit The Ill try and load my game another way is go offline button EA will ask you are you sure press yes now load you game if EA games is still given you greff. Go in to wondows go in to task menger press pres ctrl+alt+del Go down and see if you game is runing in the back ground prosces if it is then end it then try to load your game again
Im not used to write comments but i found my fix and it can be useful for some people. First, ive already played my game before and i reinstalled it cause i wanted to play again. If u repair the file in ea app it can fix it but the game is only in english. My fix was to delete all files in OneDrive cloud and it fixed it and now i can play in my language.
I solved my problem like this. My problem was caused by Kaspersky. When Kaspersky told me to reset the settings, my problem was solved. If doing so does not fix it, close Kaspersky when entering the game.

Ok guys I didn't realize this was related until he changed his clock settings but I had put my clock ahead and that was causing issues for some reason put that bad boi back on automatic time and it should fix the issue
I'm running the ea app through lutris on steam deck. Everything is installed and working fine until I launch a game. Trying to play command and conquer generals and I get the "hold up this game needs permissions" I go through the prompts to say yes give it the permissions and it doesn't launch. It says error on our end caused the launch to fail try again a little later than sends me back to the ea app menu. What do I need to do steam deck wise to get the game(s) to launch. I've tried changing the protons on lutris but they're grayed out and can't be changed to say proton experimental. I'm at my wits end

Problem unfortunately still persists. Apex Legends keeps asking me to update. When I update, it says complete and give the option to "launch". When I click that it will ask me to start updating again. Tried clearing cache, repair Apex Legends, repair EA app, restart app, restart pc, run as administrator and followed all the steps in the video. Such a stupid bug that prevents you from playing the game :(

Nothing was working for me not even this video. What I did was go into my settings, go to apps, click installed apps, and click uninstall the EA app. From there EA gives you the option to either uninstall or repair the app, I clicked repair and it just fixed itself

make sure you go to %localappdata% and not %appdata%. If you can't see them maybe it's because you haven't opened the app yet.

The EA app worked fine on my laptop but as soon as I got a new gaming desktop it just crapped out. Step two wasn’t able to work for me because it said the EA file was open when it wasn’t??????
I honestly did not think this would work, you are God sent bruh, but will I have to do all this clear cache stuff every time I want to boot up the game?
Nothing was working for me not even this video. What I did was go into my settings, go to apps, click installed apps, and click uninstall the EA app. From there EA gives you the option to either uninstall or repair the app, I clicked repair and it just fixed itself
