I think my guilty confession is that I don't clean my glasses often enough. I wait till I can't see properly through them while they recommend to clean them before putting them on.
I pop pimples everytime I see one... bad one I knooow. Or blackheads... and then a underneath pimple shows up a few days later with the undertitle "your artwork" lol
Oh i feel you, I used to do that. I actually got a pimple popper instrument online and use that when I reeeaalllyy can't help myself. It does put less pressure on my skin. I also desinfect that instrument every time I use it so it doesn't carry around all those germs. Maybe that will help you out 😉
I find that when I pop pimples, I do it until the "nub" comes out. It generally heals pretty quickly afterwards and it goes away. If I don't pop it, sometimes it gets bigger and more angry. That's my experience with my own pimples.
If you pop at least sanitise the spot and your hands before and after. Also don't use your nails use your fingers and wrap them in tissue first! But yeah you shouldn't pop. I have scars as proof
My beauty confession is that I very rarely clean my makeup brushes.. I'm certain my skin would clear up even further if I actually cleaned them regularly but I just cannot be bothered majority of time.
But for us curly people brushing our hair wet is pretty much the only time when we're allowed to brush it 😂 And I have so much hair that it takes forever to dry so I always sleep with damp or wet hair... Oh well.
Really enjoyed this video ❤️ Bubz try some japanese sunscreens!!! They are sooo light and sink in easily, even the cheaper drugstore ones :) like kosé suncut and biore aqua rich watery essence :) it’s quite cheap to buy them on amazon in the UK too :)
@@HiItsCaren I stopped using certain deodorants that has aluminum, alcohol, and parabens. Make sure you read the ingredient list of deodorants. Lots of companies make aluminum-free deodorants now :D The choices are endless!
"Sometimes I give bad advice... But did you die ??" That made me laugh so hard x') I have been following you for sooo long, I saw you get engaged, get married... Seeing how strong and confident you've become makes me feel more confident too :) I love that you're back !
Oh my god. I used to watch you when I was 8 years old and beauty channels weren’t a big thing. i forgot about your channel until i thought about it right now but wow it makes me so happy talking about how you’re a mom now. Congrats!!
Hey bubz, I'm happy you are back 🌞 Idk if other people would like this but I would love to see a series of "what we eat in a day as a family" videos 😌 The food you make always looks so good and in the earlier days of your channel you used to do some recipe/cooking with bubz moments. Loved those moments so much 🏵️ Lots of love and light from the Netherlands.
I really recommend you all to try Bodyshop's Skin Defence. I hate the feeling and smell of sunscreen, but that one is so lightweight you don't even feel you've put anything on. It's also spf 50 which is awesome! Been using it every day all summer and it doesn't clog my pores and since it's so lightweight I never hesitate to put it on. 😊
Aside from the confessions you said that I also do (like not shaving my legs (saving money and time!) and keeping makeup), I pick at my nails. Not necessarily my nail polish itself, but whenever I think I have something under my nail, I'll use my other nails to pick under it. Then, my nail polish chips more easily because my wrapped free edge gets picked off and I'm just like "grrrr".
I definitely do some of these as well. I sleep with wet hair, I have dry hands, I don’t shave my armpits or legs until I have to for an event, and I keep expired makeup bc makeup is expensive lol. I plan to start buying mini size makeup next. I also love sleeping on my side but I always wake up on my back. Bubz you should try wet shower lotions! Life changer for me bc I hated the lotion feel so I just stopped putting lotion on my body too.
Confession time! I don't always clean my face before bed. :( I am bad with applying sunscreen. It's been a while since I ran out of moisturizer... So i just apply my overnight mask as my moisturizer. I don't drink enough water I have genetically good skin, so people always come to me for advice. I am not so good at taking care of my skin so i now have tiny bumps that go away when I do take care of my skin
OMG!!! Every single thing you said, I totally relate to it and I love to sleep curled up!!! I'm guilty of not washing my face every single day and I know it's so bad...
Im REALLY guilty of not doing my skincare routine daily because im lazy and use the excuse of im still young (i just clean my face, apply toner and moisturize lol). Also not cleaning my brushes is another one and taking care of my body is one i can relate. I have so many more but ill leave it here ^^'' Lots of love from Canada Lindy !
I never wear rubber gloves unless I’m using crazy chemicals. I find they slow down the process of washing dishes too. I’d rather have old hands then get old while washing dishes haha.
I’m a dishwasher at work, and with our super deep sinks gloves can help a bit but not much. What I do to remedy this is, after work, I use a sugar scrub on my hands and then lotion them up the next few times I wash my hands. This gets off the grime from the dishwater and rehydrates the scorched skin. It might help you too if you just can’t put on the gloves some days. Also, I used to watch your videos in middle school (7-8 years ago) and it’s even more fun to watch you now. You have so much good advice that you have collected over the years and you have a video for almost anything I need to look up. It’s so nice to have found your channel again.
OMG, Bubz you are like my twin! I also sleep with damp hair, don't wear sunscreen at all, neglect my hands and wash it constantly with hot water, hate putting on lotion and don't like the feel of lotion on my skin, love showering in hot hot water as I feel it gives a much cleaner clean, have lines on my neck and neglect care of my neck as well, use expired makeup products, and I'm very self conscious about my dark armpits (ingrown hairs, clogged pores, etc.).
You're doing well this time with the consistent uploads. If you ran out of ideas, could always do updated vids of the old things you done but haven't updated in awhile, review products (i love to see your take on trendy brands nowadays, like have you tried glossier?), you could recreate inspired looks from mv/movies/even artworks. I also seen people have their kids and viewers(like through instagram) choose how they'll do their makeup. You should try makeup and fashion styles you never done before or styles you hate, that would be fun.
Ive very dry skin too and I always apply a moisturizer all over after a shower otherwise my skin get super dry, tight and itchy. I really like the cetaphil face and body moisturizer for dry skin. I dont find it sticky and it doesnt leave a residue on surfaces and clothes.
I too take scalding hot showers, haha! I have slowly started taking showers that are a lot cooler and doing short bursts of hot water when the water isn't on my hair. I also don't get my hair cut enough I get a once annual chop that takes off like 8 inches and then I don't go back for another year lol. I should get at least a quarterly trim though. I love having my hair washed at a salon it's like a mini spa day! 😂
I hate sunscreen too. I hate how greasy it is and it takes ages to put on, BUT I’ve found you can buy a spray on one! So long as you make sure everything is covered you’re good! And you don’t need to rub it in and can wear it over make up!! ASDA own brand, £3.50 😁
Bubz! Try the suntegrity sunscreen, I hate the smell of regular sunscreens too, but this smells CITRUSY it’s so good!! Only thing is the application is not smooth, but still totally manageable ❤️❤️
I am very mindful in what I buy. It has to serve its function and perfectly well. I will only buy one of each. I hate having multiple dupes on the go! I like my vanity clean and organised and I want to be able to pick up my products with my eyes closed and be finished in 10 minutes. Hate hoarding and dust!
I definitely bathe in super hot water too. I've never used bath oils before, any suggestions for someone wanting to try? Also how do you exfoliate your armpits? I'm super bad at taking care of my skin in general. Any tips for someone on a super tight budget? Love you Bubz!
I ended up liking both liquid and "stick" sunscreens that are Korean or Japanese. It depends on the formula but I have an untinted one from The Face Shop. I was worried the formula would be thick and waxy, but it felt surprisingly light for a solid. And like all sunscreens your face does get oily throughout the day but at least as it wears off, it doesn't irritate your eyes 😮 So it can be reapplied every couple of hours. Although it does feel like you're rubbing deodorant on your face 😛 Ps: my bad habits are not enough hand and body moisturization, and keeping up my face care. I've been wanting to start a regular face routine, even buying products and makeup, but my school and work tires me out so I'd rather sleep from pm to last minute in the am 😆 I also keep expired makeup. Especially my lipstick. I feel like I'm wasting the money I spent when I haven't been using all of them, just to throw them away. I'm positive I still have my first proper lipstick, which is ~8 years old, and yeah...I still use it for the memory/color 😷 If Lisa Eldridge can use Audrey Hepburn's lipstick...
I use mascaras and liquid liners till they're crusty, which is so bad, especially around the eyes! Would love a video on how you clean your brushes everytime before you use them !
There’s nothing wrong with not shaving your legs Bubz! If men don’t need to shave their legs, then women don’t need to either haha. I stopped shaving a long time ago because I’m lazy. My leg hair is barely noticeable and my legs still are smooth either way! Lol
ur face women’s body hair has been policed a lot by societal expectations. It’s time to break them haha! Body hair is natural and we shouldn’t be ashamed of it. Body hair is a choice too!! If you want to shave then that’s cool. And if you don’t, that’s cool as well
@@laazysusan9608 true, I hope it could be about preferences more instead of norms, for example I prefer hairless on both women and men 😅 instead of prefering only women to be hairless, it's pretty and smooooth
I was also really bad with lotion/moisturizing because of the same reason (didn't want to feel sticky). I found 2 brands that work really well for me (CeraVe and Lubriderm)! If I apply the lotion right after I shower, it won't feel sticky at all! hope this might be helpful for anybody out there
You should try the Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreen if you haven’t already! It’s really light, not greasy, smells like lemons, and has never broken me out.
I’m not sure if you are taking suggestions but can you maybe do a video as to how your fashion style has changed or remained consistent over the recent years? Thank youuuu:)
Hi bubz, I think the Ampleur sunscreen good for summer, and the Pola black ba sunscreen is good for winter coz it’s a little bit sticky when I use it in Hong Kong summer time. These two sunscreen don’t break out and the texture is just like lotion, unlike the regular sunscreen that you need to shake before use. I don’t know if these two are available in Belfast, but I bought them in Hong Kong Mannings and Times Square. Hope it will help❤️Love you
I like trying to sleep on my back to help my posture and neck, and I like showering at night so I have more time to sleep in the morning. I always shower with hot water because I can't resist the luxurious feeling after a long day of work. Btw a couple videos that would be cool to see are day in your life vids, cooking vids, painting vids, etc.
I'm a popaholic. To the point where I will try to pop stuff that isn't even really a pimple -.- And I use mascare on my eyebrows. It sets them and darkens them, as I have coloured my hair black. But, when I sweat, it tends to seep out...
I'm actually allergic to UV and my hands will break out with tiny blisters if I don't put sunscreen on them before going outside - and trust me, it doesn't take long for my skin to start to react. A friend and I went to get our nails done together and I had gels done, obviously they use a UV light to cure it but I thought since it'd be for a minute or two it wouldn't be so bad. I couldn't have been more wrong, I got the worst reaction on my hands than I'd ever had since I developed the allergy. On the plus side my family see what happens to me and take UV protection very seriously now.
I sadly still pull on my eyelids when i apply my eye makeup... Pushing 30 and it starts to worry me a bit also when i notice i very often also rub off my eyemakeup in the evening... Shameful but i still do it more often than not. Guilty as charged
I have curly hair... There's no wY I can brush it dry unless I want it to snap off and go really frizzy and bushy! I only brush when wet and full of conditioner 😏😅 x
With the leg cream I use Peter Thomas Roth mega rich nourishing body lotion. Soaks in well, Doesn't make my leg feel sticky and feels super soft afterwards. I can't stand thick or sticky cream especially on my hands! So my hands get neglected a bit :S
Bubz the BBC did a programme on spf a while ago and it found that you would have to wear a teaspoon of foundation to get any effect of the spf in it! The presenter tried to put on a teaspoon and it was like wearing thick paint XD but I agree it took me aaagggeeeessss to find a sunscreen that didn't make my face feel greasy and sticky but now that I have I'm never without it x
I'll never forget the video were you said to sleep on your back and I remember trying so so hard I still try to this day 😂 I sleep on my sides it's far more comfy.
Lol, my cat tapped the screen at part about leg shaving and pressed dislike button, cheeky fuzzy bugga he is. I barely use makeup so I used to be very guilty of keeping expired products, in the end I subscribed to a box which doubles as a nice monthly surprise and a way to chuck that mascara that has overstayed its welcome without the need to plan to replace it.
I’m also really bad about sunscreen but I’m actually allergic to a lot of sunscreens and I break out in an itchy rash. I’d rather get a few more wrinkles 🤷🏻♀️ I’m also a little darker so i don’t actually get intense sunburns so I don’t think about it
Same with the legs and spf and most of what you said xD but man when I do shave, my legs feel so smooth ans fabulous. They are very speckled though. I do admire people with one shade for their legs. Mine are strawberry legs despite not really shaving. Cute hair!
I have the same problem i shower/bathe in way too hot water too hehe but it feels so good. Another one of mine is that i find it hard to reapply my suncream during the day hehehe.
I honestly did not realize that makeup had expiry dates! So I am going to say I must be guilty of that. My other confession is I can get lazy removing my makeup at night. I am getting better at doing my full skincare routine most nights, but I’d still say I get lazy, or forget and end up falling asleep too early at least once a week.
I personally don't think there's anything wrong with sleeping with wet hair I do it like, 3 times a week and my hair is really thick and strong? Could just be genes but I just gently comb my wet hair from the bottom up, with a wide toothed comb, add some smoothing hair cream to the ends and tie it in a couple of loose plaits. Maybe tight buns are not so good but I don't see how it's any worse than heat styling 😘😘
I never use heat protectant even though I straighten my hair 99% of the time, I use makeup wipes instead of actually washing my face, and I literally don't even own moisturizer lol Also I always tried to do your heatless curls in middle school with like the socks and stuff with pretty damp hair so thanks a lot, bubz!!!!:P it did look pretty cool tho ngl
I want to know what sunscreen you use... I would like a spray to reapply- I use I woke up like this sunscreen. I don't wash my brushes often but I also barely use them. I don't wash my face every night or morning but when I do it's like a full Korean skin care routine. I pop pimples some times and I don't sleep enough... Oops.
I legit never wash my makeup brushes...or use spf, because I HATE the white cast and I just hate the feeling of having another moisturizer on top of my face cream 😫
dang, it sucks that sleeping with damp hair is bad for your hair! i only ever shower right before night because it helps me fall asleep and i hate doing anything like studying or chores after i’ve showered. ughhh
My beauty confession is that I don't clean my make-up brushes as often as I should. They usually can be dirty up to a week 😬🤭 and I still use it. 🤫 I am so motivated to clean it now!

To the point where I will try to pop stuff that isn't even really a pimple -.-
And I use mascare on my eyebrows.
Not gonna lie, I straight up thought of Love Island UK at the opening of this video 😂 (you made me watch the entire first season, Bubz! 😤😂😅)
LOL WHAT ARE WE GONNA WATCH NOW?
@@bubzbeauty Hahaha season 2, here we come?? 😂
I can’t believe you’re uploading more often! So exited for you, and for usssssss!!! 💕 ily!
Anyone else watching this video in bed with damp hair? 🤦🏻♀️😅😂
I sadly still pull on my eyelids when i apply my eye makeup... Pushing 30 and it starts to worry me a bit also when i notice i very often also rub off my eyemakeup in the evening... Shameful but i still do it more often than not. Guilty as charged
Hahaha I was laying at the side while watching bubz says sleeping with the back 😂😂🤦🙈
I have curly hair... There's no wY I can brush it dry unless I want it to snap off and go really frizzy and bushy! I only brush when wet and full of conditioner 😏😅 x
And here I am about to go to sleep and my hair is damp and in a bun... oh well...
Always good to see you Bubs!
I sleep in a silk bonnet for my hair and I sleep on my side lol
With the leg cream I use Peter Thomas Roth mega rich nourishing body lotion. Soaks in well, Doesn't make my leg feel sticky and feels super soft afterwards. I can't stand thick or sticky cream especially on my hands! So my hands get neglected a bit :S
I’m no beauty guru or vlogger but I find all these confessions so relatable.
I do the gel polish thing too! It's so addicting :(
Bubz the BBC did a programme on spf a while ago and it found that you would have to wear a teaspoon of foundation to get any effect of the spf in it!
That background music brings me back to my 14 year old self. The memories. ❤😭
I keep makeup that’s expired but usually only eyeshadow palettes cause they were expensive AF and still have tons of product left 😅
I’m also really bad about sunscreen but I’m actually allergic to a lot of sunscreens and I break out in an itchy rash. I’d rather get a few more wrinkles 🤷🏻♀️ I’m also a little darker so i don’t actually get intense sunburns so I don’t think about it
What sunscreen spray do you use? I've been searching for one!
Your confession on showering with super hot water made me think about the meme of the dog that's up in flames 😂😂😂😂
Same with the legs and spf and most of what you said xD but man when I do shave, my legs feel so smooth ans fabulous. They are very speckled though. I do admire people with one shade for their legs. Mine are strawberry legs despite not really shaving.
Cute hair!
so many of these are relatable, especially the gloves, hand cream and spatulla xD
I’m glad ur actually back.
I don't like wearing rubber gloves on its own too, I wear cotton gloves underneath the rubber gloves so it's easier to pull on and off
I have the same problem i shower/bathe in way too hot water too hehe but it feels so good. Another one of mine is that i find it hard to reapply my suncream during the day hehehe.
your hair is so cute!!!
This was so enjoyable to watch thank you for your honesty 🤗🤗
Expired make up (and skincare) yeppp. Totally relatable
'But did you die?' 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 I love bubz!! x
I miss the comment section so much :< Love your videos Lindy!!
I never use heat protectant even though I straighten my hair 99% of the time, I use makeup wipes instead of actually washing my face, and I literally don't even own moisturizer lol Also I always tried to do your heatless curls in middle school with like the socks and stuff with pretty damp hair so thanks a lot, bubz!!!!:P it did look pretty cool tho ngl
sunscreen tends to make me breakout!
Oops.
I don’t wash my brushes as often as I should, I often forget SPF.
I legit never wash my makeup brushes...or use spf, because I HATE the white cast and I just hate the feeling of having another moisturizer on top of my face cream 😫
Taking a hot shower/bath just... cleanses my soul!
SAME... I'm so guilty of it, but I do it anyway since my legs are covered all year long! xD
dang, it sucks that sleeping with damp hair is bad for your hair! i only ever shower right before night because it helps me fall asleep and i hate doing anything like studying or chores after i’ve showered. ughhh
My beauty confession is that I don't clean my make-up brushes as often as I should. They usually can be dirty up to a week 😬🤭 and I still use it. 🤫 I am so motivated to clean it now!
When I was young I wished I could buy your merch (shirt and brushes), now that I’m older and have money of my own I finally am able to buy your merch 💕
I know it's bad but I'm a huge side sleeper as well, it's just so comfy ; v ;
Please do a hair care video next! I love your videos :)
