NICE! People get caught up in prices! Your Home Theater Room is awesome, and the fact that you could have one,.. is even cooler! Thanks for giving us a tour.
I hope you feel proud of yourself because that is a nice thoughtful setup!
I much prefer viewing someone's setup where it's is far more reachable/accessible to us average people!
I wonder why I like that wall colour so much, maybe if you click on the red dragon you'll get the answer
Very impressive all-round. Great that you were able to put together a solid setup for that price. Awesome collection too, I was immediately drawn to the horror movies!
Most of the horror movies are my wife’s, Luckily she loves movies almost as much as me.
I love this video. I’ve always wanted a theater room in my basement and I prob watched like a hundred home theater room videos. Problem is those people are spending SEVERAL THOUSANDS of dollars which I don’t have. Finally I come across your video and I’m now I’m excited because It’s so much more realistic for me and your theater room is amazing. Thank you
Thank you very much! This is exactly why I made this video. I want the average person to know that having their own home theater is very attainable. There is nothing wrong with have a 10-20k home theater, but there are definitely more options out there that won’t break the bank. I hope your home theater adventure goes well!
Thank you for posting this as I know many have spent tens of thousands on their home theater and that's just not in the budget for me do not being able to work due to chronic daily migraines. I think a few thousand dollars is doable. I've got about 70 big picture frames that were purchased from the salvation army for a dollar a piece. I can't wait to put some of my own photography and movie posters in them. I intend to do what you've done in my garage. It's a wonderful car and the dimensions are perfect for home theater
Terrific job, wonderful budget home theater room, all the quality you need
I could definitely spent a lot more, but I don’t think the experience would increase relative to the extra money I could have spent.
You can get a great epson projector on their clearance or refurbished page I just got my epson 5040ub around $1200 with 2 years warranty
That’s really nice sir! You should get you a Blockbuster sign for the closet door. That would be a nice touch.
Looks great 👍🏾 that Back to the future shelf looks great 👍🏾
Bud: you are amazing- who said you have to sell a kidney to enjoy quality home cinema at home- very well done👍👍👍👍👍
Dope room and awesome movie collection! The more people that support physical media the better.
Just came across your channel while looking at similar videos for inspiration. Really digging the setup you have here and I decided to be your first subscriber. Hope you continue to make more videos in the future!
I’m glad you like the room and thank you for subscribing. I hope this video gave you some ideas on how to get started, without spending a fortune. If you have a little patience and don’t mind doing some things yourself, you’ll have a great room at an even better price.
my favorite part was the first movie you pulled out, The Outsiders. my favorite film all time 👍 great choice of movie props too.
Very cool. Great job!!!
Great job looks good and a great budget
I've also got a budget home theater. Always nice to see other people's approaches. Unfortunately I don't have a dedicated room for it, so I had to make my livingroom "transform" for movie night. So, the screen is a pull down, and everything from the speakers to the projector backlighting is hidden away on shelves. The sofas slide easily on the floor and the rear one raises while the front one lowers a few inches so people in the back can see :)
Unreal value. Well done, Sir. Having said that, please organize your movie collection! Hahaha. My DVDs and Blu-rays are organized alphabetically and my anime is separate. My gf's collection is separate from mine, as she refuses to organize them, or have me do it. It drives me bonkers. Cheers
It may not look like it, but they are somewhat organized. I have them broken down into genres, which makes it pretty easy to find what I’m looking for. Maybe one day I will get the genres alphabetized.
Outstanding setup. 👍🏾👍🏾
Great looking room I'm working on mine I have the Epson 880 projector and I love that and I bought some blackout material and made my own screen from Jo-Ann fabric
Good luck on your project, I hope you were able to get some inspiration from the video.
Good for you man. Great setup you got there!
That is an amazing room and you have some arcade 1up cabinets to very 🆒
Beautiful home theater and it’s amazing that you put it together on such a modest budget.
Thank you very much. Budgets are easy to keep low if you’re willing to learn how to do some things yourself and you understand that more expensive doesn’t always mean better.
Man, i need to see more. Really nice, im also building a budget theater in my bonus room. Would like to see how did you build that riser.
The risers are very simple to make, mine is exactly 4’wide and 8’ long. All I did was get some 2”x8”x8’ boards and screw them together with deck screws, then screwed down a 4’x8’ pice of 3/4” particle board on top. I then staples the matching carpet along the bottom edge. It only cost about $150 to make.
Mate I love everything about your theater. Your movie tastes are so similar to my own. I just started my own channel last month. I'll be starting my home theater build vids in the next few days with a budget theme as well. I'm hoping to actually find the majority of my build materials and all of my equipment at the junkyard lol. Keep up the content :)
That sounds like it’s going to be a very interesting build. I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Good luck with your channel and theater build.
The theater looks good and great movie collection you got there. I also started my bluray collection.
Thank you very much. When starting a movie collection I would definitely recommend no just buying everything you can. Make sure whatever you buy is important to you, and something you will definitely want to watch multiple times.
@@reeltoreelretroreviews9164 I totally agree, so for collection, I maintain my own personal score on IMDB, whichever movie I gave 8 and above I will buy the 4K Bluray. But the fact is I am from India and 4K Blu-rays are not that easily available. Anyways I am subscribing to your channel, hope to see more content from you.... cheers..
That's a awesome room! Love how you show your film collection aswell 🔥🔥 Don't have to spend a fortune to get into this hobby
Awesome compact projector!
You should make a spreadsheet on google drive for your collection. It makes sorting and searching through your movies much easier. I have a column for the title, genre, duration, year, IMDB rating, type (BD, 4k, DVD)
My shelves are actually organized by media type(dvd,Blu-ray) and by genre. We also have an app that scans the barcode and catalogs all titles.
Excellent movie theater .. It shows that it is not necessary to spend a fortune to achieve something. Although I do not see absorbent panels or acoustic diffusers .. Anyway I advise you to invest some dollars in that issue .. It will help you to the reflections of the sounds. And see in the future a receiver that supports Dolby Atmos, to make the sensation more intense when playing the movie. Greetings from 🇨🇱 Chile ✌🏻
That's comfy! I love your decoration. 🤩
Thank you! It’s not much, but it’s far beyond anything I could have imagined having just 10 years ago, not to mention as a kid.
Awesome, congrats
Omg amazing. Nice movie collection
Thank you! Although the theater room was a on a tight budget, I would hate to know how much I’ve spent on movies.
Great setup you have there!!
Hometheater on a Budget...🔥🔥🔥
I’m hoping that this will inspire some people to ignore the ones that say you have to spend 10-15k to have a good home theater. Everyone is blown away by my theater the first time they watch a movie in it. Just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean that the experience increases relative to cost of the theater.
@@reeltoreelretroreviews9164 all i've been doing is auditioning receivers throughout this pandemic! One of them the mid price range Denon 6500 considering it was 4 times more than what I paid for my budget Sony STR 1080 receiver, I ended up taking it back because I thought it'd would've been a massive jump up in sound quality ! I actually prefer the sound of my budget Sony, not only does the Sony have a less of a digital sound, the Sony uses a solid frame and beam chassis for vibration resistance and the lowest sound distortion possible. It also uses specially selected components, fitted with ES grade solder, for class-leading sound quality!
Conclusion:
it's only when I looked/listened elsewhere that I realise just how good the sound of Sony receivers are!
Great job!
This is awsome
Iam building my home theater right now i have a vankyo 630w 1080p projector an xbox one s gaming system a 1080p roku streaming stick and 120inch projector screen and next will be buying an onn Dolby atmos sound bar from Walmart and i have over 250 bluray movies no DVDs i will get some home theater seating in the future
Nice but you can’t put the seat back because the wall is there? But again very nice bro
Nice job!
Awesome- well done!
N I ce setup. What do you have for sound?
Very interested in using your idea with the budget seating. What are the rough dimensions of your platform so I can get a sense of how much space it will take up. Thanks!
Siccccc ❤
Woah! So many movies! They cost a lot more than your projector setup.
Yeah....I hate to think how much I have in the collection. Even at $7 each, over $6000 in movies and I know the average cost is going to be more than $7 each.
I got those same seat. Do you have video on building those cup holders console?
No, but I was planning on making a video review of these seats, and included a short how to on the console.
@@reeltoreelretroreviews9164 I know it's a long shot, but any chance you've had a chance to follow up on the DIY cup holders? Or if you could comment with a quick guide when you have time? Anyways, great setup man! It was a big help for me.
How have these seats held up?
These seats have held up very well, they look as good as they did the day I bought them. They ably complaint I have is that the wood in the armrest is a little thin. If you aren’t careful, you can crack the wood of the armrest when applying pressure with your elbows, trying to adjust yourself in the seat.
Que hermoso 💗
Good review!! U gave me an idea on how to post my movie room tour!! Thanks!!... download CLZ movie app on your phone to track your movies!!
Thank you very much! I’m glad I was able to give you some ideas, I’m still learning myself and trying to figure out what the next video will be. I’m thinking that I may just talk about my video store memories.
U need DVR .it would reduced your space
As crazy as it sounds, I prefer having physical copies on a shelf. I enjoy looking through my movies.
arcade1up is extreme..ly lame . sure real arcade have risen in prices.. but damn the experience is much better
I would prefer to have real arcade machines, but it would take up way too much room. Honestly, for the average person, arcade 1up is more than sufficient. I couldn’t be happier with mine.
me god its look like you dont have dis wend u was smol , cildren u was in institution??
those chairs ain't budget at all
They were only $110 each, I would say that’s a pretty cheap budget.
@@reeltoreelretroreviews9164 wtf really? In my country those kinda chair cost a fortune. Those are nice chairs
They have gone up a little in the two years since I purchased them, but her is the link.

Receiver sony 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮… denon , marantz, Yamaha and onkyo 👌👌👌
I would be more than happy to install one of those if you’ll pay for it lol.
i saw this video a while back and commented it was one of the best tours...and it still is in 2024
