Hi! Totally rando stranger here, but your video popped up in my feed, and I thought I'd share what little I know about these paints from when I tried them a few years ago. Mind you, I'm no expert! I think these paints are meant for people who have bad reactions to the turpentine/mineral spirits that are usually used to thin oil paint and clean brushes. These paints are actually meant to be used straight out of the tube, not mixed with water - although of course as with all supplies, you can use them however the heck you want, and you got some nice results with them! The water part means you can rinse and wash your brushes with plain water. However, this past summer I started the Evolve Artist program, which is like an oil painting correspondence course. We use regular oils but don't use turpentine/OMS at all. We sometimes thin the paint with a bit of linseed oil, but it turns out regular oil paint can be washed with water and Ivory soap. So...??? Anyway, next time you try these, maybe try them straight out of the tube, see how that goes? I find oils to be beautiful but very tricksy. I still haven't really figured them out. Good luck!

I've seen this type of medium lately... I always thought you had to use the linseed or mineral oil with oil paints. It is nice to see one with water soluble. I am surprised at how many of these subscription places there are really. It amazes me they can stay in business (some of them). Your artwork came out really great. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks I was not happy when opened this box but I handled the dread pretty well 😅 Funny you mention oils I was thinking 🤔 can I use it with these if I wanted to🤷♀️ if I muster up the courage to whip these paints out again I will have to dabble in it.
