Sweet little movie. Wild mustangs use to be plenty on Australia's largest sand island, "Fraser Island " Queensland Australia. Until the government removed all of them. 😢 now wild dingoes annoy campers and visitors to the island, with reported attacks looking for food. They'll creep into your tents, chase folk into the ocean, surround and attack in packs. Old and sick mustangs/brumbys use to be a substantial food source. Now the dingoes invade camper's 😢

Dad picked couple apples from car, he & I walked across road too horses.walking across rd dad was cutting pieces with his knife. We enjoyed our time with horses gathered to try dad's tasty Apple. As we turned back saw several people watching us. What, to a kid about my age? Well, those are wild Mustang an they don't really do that with anyone!
Yes, a huge problem the rounding up of mustangs. And nowadays they are sold for meat to Mexico, when they are not tortured at rodeos with those monstrous flank straps... Why must far too many humans be so full of greed... Great to see Connie Selleca in such a thoughtful movie. I have always liked her a lot. And the two young girls did an excellent job too!
They aren’t tortured 🤦♂️ flank straps do not hurt those animal’s. And if wild horses weren’t rounded up, more would starve to death, from over populating.
There is No over population of wild herds most foals are lucky to make it to yearlings! The cattle are what over grazes and rips up the grass by the roots

I live in North Dakota we still have these in Western North Dakota they are now threatened because cattle ranchers want more grazing space and they claim that the horses are ruining the land. 🤔 Cattleman have a lot of money behind them in a lot of lobbyists. Cattlemen's livestock association in this state runs things with their deep pockets. If you ever get a chance to give money towards fighting back to keep the horses on their own land AWHC American Wild Horse Campaign is a good place to start and any money amount helps them. I especially stay on the representatives in my state both House and Senate and the governor. Even though as we all know in this crooked country you're allowed to all be in office while your money comes from oil and gas leasing and their lobbyists who of course don't want the horses there. The horses don't have a voice so I try to help any way I can and have since back in the 60s. I lived in Montana before ND and the same problem is in that state also with the ranchers who don't like the horses on their land they'd rather eat it to the ground and trampled it into nothing with their cattle. ✌️💞 This is an excellent movie. ✌️🫵🐎🐎🐎
