If you really want to know how this stuff works you really need to head to China and go to the Yiwu International Trade City. It’s essentially the world’s biggest wholesale and manufacturing canter. Pretty much all the people who are making the stuff for the brand names have shops there. It’s like this convention on steroids and it’s going on every single day.
