Thank you for this! It’s greatly appreciated. Also, I found that if you go to Attributes>Multiplayer>Lobby while in the editor, you can uncheck the box that says “Enable AI” and then you won’t have to remember to disable the AI from the role selection screen.
Hey! Thank you for tutorial! But I have one problem... When I select any slot and then going to play, other units are playable by using "Change Unit" key. Could you please help me how to disable this? Thank you!
I think it would depend on what your end goal is. Are you hosting a mission for you and friends? If you are, then you shouldn't have to worry as I believe that Change Unit button only functions in the editor, not in game. If you are just playing Singleplayer, then I would say just don't make playable slots. Or you could also go into your controls and just unbind that key as well. Let me know if that helps!
Hey, sorry for the late reply, not sure why I didn't get the notification for this. I am sorry but this was from years ago and I haven't touched Arma in a long time, I'm not much help nowadays.
If you make multiple missions, you can also save yourself some time by adding these player slots to a custom composition!
Though this is a couple years old. It is very helpful to a new Zeus like myself. SO glad these tutorials exist

I always enjoy teaching Arma editor stuff so if you have any questions, just ask!
is it possible to lock a player down to a Steam ID? How do you grant a user automatic Zeus perms for a specific slot..?
Also .. great stuff!
