NKP 765: "Steam in the Valley" 9-28-19

- Sometimes, to find steam, you have to venture away from home. And that's just what I did. In late September 2019, I boarded a plane bound for Cleveland, Ohio to ride behind Nickel Plate Road #765 at the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's annual 'Steam in the Valley' event. The weather was nice, the scenery was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the locomotive was a delight to the senses.
This was my first time seeing 765 in person and my first time riding the rails of the CVSR. A big 'Thank You' to both CVSR and the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society for putting on this event every year.
Filmed with my Canon Vixia HF-R800 at 30fps in 1080p HD. All shots were handheld.

Very nicely done! If you were sitting on the other side of the coach at 18:14 you would've seen me and about 8 other people filming trackside.

Nickel plate road 765 should visit strasburg like 611 those two engines were part of norfolk and southerns steam program

Shame steam in the valley is cancelled for 2020 due to covid 19.
