I like the movie, but I can agree Josh Tranks original version could've been better
This reboot made the original movies look like Oscar material. I SAID IT AND I MEANT IT TOO.

Actually not really. Even if it did, it still doesn't save the movie from being a boring film with weak characters and a shitty plot.
+KingoftheGundam79 Yes, quite; certainly a lot closer than some of the other Marvel films, most notably "Hulk." I don't see what you see; how is it "boring?" The characters weren't "weak," they were human. And the plot was solid.

You see, I allowed for that scenario as well. And what is with people having a go at how the title was rendered? They render it that way on the comics too.
How you must hate "Se7en," "Thir13en Ghosts," and the Jackson 5ive.
I call it Fant4stic to distinguish it from the other Fantastic Four movies. Believe me, I don't need an excuse to bash it. It has enough reasons already.

You know, not like that movie could realistically get any worse, but this would have made it a HELL of a lot more tolerable. Kudos.

Ok, why do you think this movie is decent? I know this is a year old comment but you seem to like this movie and feel like you can defend it as a faithful adaptation. I'm not trying to be a dick though plz don't respond to me rudely about this. I noticed that bit of responses you had with one guy so just know that I'm just a guy curious to know why you're not hating this like everyone else. :)

@@scr0ngle108 There aren't explosions going off every five seconds or some loudmouth delivering one-liners, but quite a lot happens, including the Four saving the world.
@@dnmstarsi First of all, let me thank you for being civil about and not just lighting into me.
As for its being a faithful adaptation, have you ever read "Ultimate Fantastic Four?" That was this movie's main source material, and as such it hews very close to it, more so than some of the more successful Marvel-based movies. Besides, I'm an FF fan from childhood, also very much into alternate realities-- and let's face it, every movie and T.V. adaptation of a comic is an alternate reality. I know this version isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is a darn good tale, and it has a much more frightening Doom than Julian McMahon delivered.
My fave adaptation is still the unreleased movie, but I like 'em all.
