I agree. The Lakers have too many players out for self and that's what happens when you don't have a legitimate star. To many of these role players are trying to prove they are the next Kobe. When a young player hooks up with other younger players, who aren't on the same page, they can disrupt the goal of the team.

Kidd has been the comp people give Lonzo consistently. While he's a lot more athletic than Kidd, it's not a bad thing to be compared to him.

well clearly he can shoot the 3 from outside but he seems to be able hit it mostly when its a straight 3 from the middle area. he is having hard time in nba because players are more athletic and move faster. you can see there is very little defence around him in these highlights. he will have to learn and adjust
nah its all in his head, if you look at all the shots he takes hes wide open and lonzo even admitted it in an interview. Obvioulsy he has a great shot selection as he has a very high iq its just the he aint making them

Don't forget he's young. Ceiling is sky high for him.

A lot of people talking about how much different he is in the NBA, but he looked to be back playing freely and playing with joy when he was on the bulls. Unfortunately he just missed so much time, but I feel like it was a lot of the old Lonzo with how confidently he was shooting - it’s just less off the dribble and more catch and shoot when you have legit NBA All-Stars playing with you, rather than those UCLA teammates who wouldn’t even pan out in the league. You know watching these highlights, I can understand why his dad touted Lonzo as being the next great NBA player but I dont think his dad took into consideration that the NBA is a whole different ball game. To watch Lonzo now, he is playing nowhere near this good. He will definitely get there, but his dad needs to keep quiet and let Lonzo do it with dignity .
