For as long as I can remember, I've always had a set or earbuds hooked onto a mp3 or a phone listening to whatever music i desired. • The childhood of techno, electronic and dupstep • The tween years of rock and rap. • the teenage years of rap, hip-hop, lo-fi, indie, r&b, breakcore, alternative, metal and classical. Since this december, I haven't been able to listen to music the same way and that frustrates me in a way like no other. Music is a fundamental part of who I am; It has shapen me as a person, it has helped create bonds and most importantly, it has helped me be myself. Music has also been there for me more than any person. Mhsic has given me comfort, it has given my the strength i need to keep going. Music is my anchor. Music has seen me through my worst. The rage, the sadness, the desperation, the apathy. But it also has seen me through my best. The happiness, the joy, the wonder, the innocense. And as i shed tears while typing this comment, i want those who see this comment to know that music is the most beautiful thing ever known to man.

I can only agree that music is about awaken emotions in one self, but nothing other than that. Music in politics wtf. It is already used in ads to make us feel like what bullshit a poltician is saying is right. Its a great manipulation tool. Put on epic music to make something non epic seem epic. Make local music seem like you apart of a region. This speech carries very little value at all. Sure he may believe music is all about positive things, but no it honestly isn't. Its also a very easy tool to use for manipulation.
