    Good job utilizing the numbers.

Low misses on the driver will result in very high spin numbers. Hitting it closer to the heel will also slightly increase spin. Your low heel misses are where you get the 3k spin thats losing you 20 yards.
On the contrary, high misses on the driver will get you a very low spin number as well as toe strikes. You adapting and standing further away from the ball lowered your spin because your strike was closer to the middle or toe. What you did was a good fix. You are launching the ball very good around 16-17 for that ball speed.
You had a great approach to your session in understanding misses and how to fix them. You pretty much caught on to what I was saying above through your session.
You saying that you are 5'2 actually makes me want to recommend cutting your driver shaft to at least 45 inches if it isn't already. Shorter drivers generally help with strike location since the club is easier to control. Might also help that heel miss as well. I would even play around with your weights in your head a little more.

Thank you! This is very helpful!
I checked my purchase order and my driver is already 45 inches. Fitter saw me and knew 😂

What I’d give for your consistency.. in the fairway 200-220 yds is ideal in my thinking..

your attack angle is down, sometimes 4 degress -ve which is not optimal with the driver which will increase spin as well.
try "hitting up" by placing ball slightly more forward

Good golfers like nelly korda hit down on their driver. It’s not ideal but there are pros who struggle to hit up on their driver since we are taught to hit down on irons. It’s not as detrimental as it sounds. Heel misses are much worse.

I did hear Nelly say she hits slightly down and a lot of pros do, but somehow they keep the spin rate under 4000 😂
100% agree though, heel shots consistently is more of a problem than a little negative attack angle

Bridgestone E12 contact golf ball will help you hit straight shots also and use Champkey golf tees to help cut the spin. Good luck.

The Driver is not the problem. It’s your Shaft. You need to be fitted with the proper shaft. So you need to go to a location that has the ability to let you test various combinations of Shafts with the same Head. I struggled with Drivers for a long time, after spending about three hours testing various head and shaft configurations, I got a driver that I can work slightly right or left but goes straight as the normal shot. With a good spin rate. Try different shafts, find a shaft you like, that will bring you consistency. All modern Driver Heads are great, however all shafts need to be matched to a golfers particular swing pattern. Also try shorter shaft lengths, most Pros use shorter Drivers than Stock, 44.5” is a normal pro shaft length. Shorter Shaft, more center hits less dispersion.

True! Getting the correct shaft is sooooo important. It's literally what changed my iron game. Maybe I haven't found the right shaft for my driver yet 🤔

@@GolfwithShan find out which shaft Mike Weir is using, try that shaft. Consider your mishits and shaft length impact, a half inch shorter shaft moves your ball closer to center, without changing your set up or swing, Your swing is fine.

Shen, move your hips forward , keeping your head behind the ball. The PXG driver you have is excellent

I believe if the spin number is italicized the spin is estimated and not measured. IDK how much +/- it is when it's estimated but could be the reason for some super high spin shot. You obviously had SOME measured high ones too, but looks like the majority of measured ones were really good spin numbers.

I didn't even pay attention to the italized number sometimes! Good point

Felt that 5 wood going longer than driver. I can't get a hit on a driver in a sim. 6i goes farther lol

You know, I can't seem to hit my driver well on the range or sim. Maybe cause on the course, I don't know the stats, just if it's in the fairway or not haha

you could probably get a Sim or rouge for about $200 US now and if you are travelling to the states you could get it fitted cheap they are both great drivers and the Sim is even better than the stealth

I hear the Stealth drivers are very unforgiving. Good for pros but not great for the rest of us 😂
$200 is amazing deal nowadays for a driver!

@@GolfwithShan I've always waited a few years after a new driver comes out two reason, price will come down and you will get the most honest reviews some pro's don't even want the new one they want to stay with the old one. most important is that you can hit straight and then long.

Another great video Shan. I have the SIM 2 Max and I'm quite happy with it (still). Stealth 2 users also seem to be happier with that model than the original Stealth. Can't wait to see where you are headed next.
