I just love the added 32-bit float USB-C capability of the NT-1 5th gen. I hope they don't abandon it!!

if let’s say, my recordings focus on rap, speech, bit of singing, would the NT2-a have problems keeping up with the new Rode or a Shure SM7B ?

Did you connect the mic direct to the audio interface?

Yes it's connected directly to my Avid Mbox Studio Audio Interface. I didn't have any filters enabled or anything it's just the raw audio direct from the mic.

If your audio interface has phantom power then yes this will work.

Is the pop filter included in the box?

As mentioned at about 3:40 in the video, it does come with the pop filter and shock mount. It also comes with a very nice XLR cable too.

i would go for the nt1 5th gen if i could too, it has a flatter sound and its nicer to edit :) besides that you have 32bit float = you cant clip
