You should use shuttles or birdie, it will show how the shot is executed. Movement and execution is what makes a good shot, both are equally important.

I have some doubt in the front court footwork coz u said first we have to use non racquet foot but in videos of lin dan ,lee chong wei they just use racquet foot as first step in front court footwork..so help me out

It depends on your pace and leg length whether you make the First step with your non Racket foot or your racket foot.
