They put their lives at risk to save this toxic asshole, the dad actually helped both of them out of the car and the entire family was checking to make sure they were both ok. Right before this clip he mentions driving in unsafe conditions & how he shouldn’t be focusing on his chat. In my state it crosses over into questionable the minute someone touches their phone, let alone texts or watches their chat even in more safe driving conditions. I’ve been in hydroplane situations more than once in a regular car that was worth maybe $1500. I cared a lot more about surviving than anything & I’m grateful I didn’t have anyone in my car any of those times. I took a trip to Florida a few years ago & took a double decker bus between Jacksonville & Orlando. I got the front seat on the upper level, which normally would be great. You know, i just watched a video on a case out of Minnesota where a sister and brother were drag racing down a road. The brother was going around 110 and sister was going 93. A car that had a couple in it were turning about 3 football fields away from the light they took off at and the brother had struck them resulting in their death. While his speeds you can see on his dash don't get to be that insanely high, to be driving in the rain going around 70 while texting is a concoction for disaster waiting to strike. He should be grateful that both of them walked out of that vehicle, and no one around them had gotten involved. To film the entire thing while his buddy is bleeding from his own injuries suffered is gruesome. Sadly I think it is going to take more than an online ban and a totaled sports car to get it through his mind the danger he put them in. Not even to mention the carelessness of influence this has on a young audience. It's horrifying.

He was literally THE worst person at the job we had. But when he had an accident, the first thing I did was asking if he was okay. If he needed medical attention or anything else. That's what I did to a person I hated, because regard my feelings, I still care if people are alive or not. That's what a reasonable person would do. I believe the worst thing you can do is brake while aqua plaining, you need to slightly increase speed until you grip or take foot off the accelerator and keep wheels straight as if you turn it in a panic when the wheels regain grip if they are turned the car will spin out, like what happened here, he wasn’t paying attention and panicked when he felt the steering to light, turned, brakes, regained grip while wheels at angle, then try to correct when it was too late
This is how our accident happened. A teen was on her phone and didn't see that traffic had come to a stop and ran into us going 70. Luckily I wasn't in my car, and we were in our van, so we didn't suffer any serious injuries. But it could have been avoided if she had been paying attention and not on her phone.

In my state it crosses over into questionable the minute someone touches their phone, let alone texts or watches their chat even in more safe driving conditions.
I’ve been in hydroplane situations more than once in a regular car that was worth maybe $1500. I cared a lot more about surviving than anything & I’m grateful I didn’t have anyone in my car any of those times.
I took a trip to Florida a few years ago & took a double decker bus between Jacksonville & Orlando. I got the front seat on the upper level, which normally would be great. Unfortunately we hit a REALLY bad rainstorm. I saw multiple crashes, including hurt & dead people. I won’t even leave the house with my own car anymore if it’s raining because of the trauma.

You know, i just watched a video on a case out of Minnesota where a sister and brother were drag racing down a road. The brother was going around 110 and sister was going 93. A car that had a couple in it were turning about 3 football fields away from the light they took off at and the brother had struck them resulting in their death. While his speeds you can see on his dash don't get to be that insanely high, to be driving in the rain going around 70 while texting is a concoction for disaster waiting to strike. He should be grateful that both of them walked out of that vehicle, and no one around them had gotten involved. To film the entire thing while his buddy is bleeding from his own injuries suffered is gruesome. Sadly I think it is going to take more than an online ban and a totaled sports car to get it through his mind the danger he put them in. Not even to mention the carelessness of influence this has on a young audience. It's horrifying.
Worked in healthcare, the friend bleeding and asking where he is bleeding causes worry in me.If there is a first aid-kit in McLaren's trunk then Jack should be helping his friend. At minimum helping him sit on the curb to wait for an ambulance

At my work, we had a guy who had an accident.
I hated the guy for many reasons. I yelled at him, I lectured him over and over again because he never listen.
He was literally THE worst person at the job we had.
But when he had an accident, the first thing I did was asking if he was okay.
If he needed medical attention or anything else.
That's what I did to a person I hated, because regard my feelings, I still care if people are alive or not.
That's what a reasonable person would do.

I believe the worst thing you can do is brake while aqua plaining, you need to slightly increase speed until you grip or take foot off the accelerator and keep wheels straight as if you turn it in a panic when the wheels regain grip if they are turned the car will spin out, like what happened here, he wasn’t paying attention and panicked when he felt the steering to light, turned, brakes, regained grip while wheels at angle, then try to correct when it was too late

This is how our accident happened. A teen was on her phone and didn't see that traffic had come to a stop and ran into us going 70. Luckily I wasn't in my car, and we were in our van, so we didn't suffer any serious injuries. But it could have been avoided if she had been paying attention and not on her phone.
