it's because the way the turn signal works is complete shit, although that's also a good reason lmao. the first time I drove a bmw I stopped using them after trying twice.
But if they have music on in the car you might not hear it as loudly

Ahmed Mukhtar there’s some speaker noise but a lot of it is coming from the exhaust

Why the hell does an X35i car have a 4 cylinder? BMW's naming conventions are getting almost as bad as Infiniti. At least they didn't call this thing a "coupe."
opmike343 it’s just a name. The number doesn’t have to mean engine size or horsepower power numbers
For BMW's M Pure models, a 35 represents a 4-cylinder, such as the M135i or the X2 M35i, a 40 represents a 6-cylinder, such as the M340i and M440i, a 50 represents a 8-cylinder, such as the M550i and X6 M50i, and a 60 represents a 12-cylinder, such as the M760i. It makes sense, you just gotta know. :P
