Found him when I read a guitar luthier review say that he had made a special guitar for a bluesman named Eric Bibb. I had never heard the name so I looked him up and fell in love with his music. Took every cd the local library had and listened for weeks and even a trip to Dallas Eric drove w me the whole time 27 hours! . Then I caught him live in Chicago. Had him sign my cd. Nicest guy with a great life story too. My fav is In my Fathers House! I once played it for a guy that taught guitar locally He just stood there with his jaw on the floor! I wanna see him Keb Mo, Taj Mahal and Joe Bonamassa on his next blues cruise. Cannot say enough good things about the man.

I found Mr Bibb about a year ago. He is amazing. It's great to hear SPIRITUALS and tunes that inspire .. His message is spot on. Guitar playing is Flawless and vocals right from the Heart. I have been playing Guitar for over 34 yrs and EB is the Real Deal.......
That was wonderful. Its hard to say what i like the most, but if i had to pick one thing it would be how pure and honest his preformance was. Completely stripped from everything except the music and the soul. That man does indeed sing with all his heart.
Not only does he roar with energy and roll over some deft licks on the guitar he is one of the nicest people I interviewed when working as a reviewer years ago. He signed my jeans. 4 people are deaf to the angels... I have my own personal angel, and I hear her song every time she speaks to me, she saves me from my own darknesses. Though I don't believe in a Christian God, I do believe God and, for want of a better name, Satan are within us and come out in our actions, and my angel helps me to make the right choices.
