This integration is great. I would love to see other platforms make extensions for FCPX too. I know it's probably costly for them to develop, but it would make things a lot easier for editors.
This is actually great and hope that more and more libraries like these become available. Now that FCPX can load 3D models for example, Sketchfab, turbosquid, etc libraries could be embedded directly to use and preview inside FCPX and Motion. I totally second this mindset, when quality and speed is the goal then time to evaluate and thing too much is just not there. And being able to iterate incredibly fast for a final goal piece is also rewarding on its own. I work on a peculiar video games industry subset, the approach I take is all the same, scanned models, textures, libraries, plugins, tools to shortcut as much as possible with production proven tools towards a final goal... like a friend uses to say, “if this is cheating then even taking the bus to work is also cheating, we should go bare foot or invent our own shoes/cars/you name it”.

Execelent!
Thanks for the heads up. The Shutterstock extension offers some free music, photo and video material as well as their extensive libraries of material.
I use Pond5 a lot.
I use Story Blocks since it was Audio Blocks etc. I may check Shutterstock out though as I like the in-use aspects for FCPX.
Much more reasonable but I’ve had issues of copyright claims that you have to prove out.
Great. Thanks
