trying to get back into skating

I haven't skated in a while. I gotta say it was frustrating to not land tricks I used to have consistently, but it was great to finally get them. I cut out a lot, but dropping in was scary, ollieing off the curb took forever, and the 5050 stall to shove it took 4 minutes of trying to land. I think it's easy to get hung up on losing progress in skateboarding, but as soon as you start skating you'll start progressing again. SO GET BACK ON YOUR SKATEBOARD. It misses you :(

I used to be able to atleast ollie on my cousin's skateboard few years ago, and fastforward i bought a cruiserboard this summer and i couldn't even go in a straight line.(i was absolutelly flabbergasted)

@@gludeusmaximus Nah, Last few days have been just floating around parks just getting the feel of things. Basically starting from scratch at this point. Not that there was much I had down back then, maybe ollies and manuals on flat.

@@gludeusmaximus the real burner is trying to find spots in a county where barely anyone skates. Closest dead park is maybe 30min out by car with rusted out skatewave ramps. looking at 40 to an hour to any maintained concrete parks. Have yet to find any decent street spots.
