To walk the cobblestone streets of Paris must be like stepping back in time. Can you almost imagine yourself being there during the revolution? Oh and of course the amazing buildings!
Hah. Hyperbole but nearly right. Every nook and corner seems to be dripping with artistic design choices. I love noticing the nuances of the city. Glad you enjoyed it too and thanks for the comment -Henry
I can only imagine how packed those streets must be once all the stores are open! Thank you again for taking me somewhere I probably won’t get to in real life. Don’t change your pace, I’ve found it perfect in other videos. Keep walking!
I always like the way you point out various cathedrals. It is nice you got to see Notre Dame before the fire. I see more posts along the streets you walked. Thank you again.
Great to see Paris this time of the morning, as people start their days, two or three hours before I begin thinking about getting out of bed. Thanks for this. I look forward to watching your other City Walks.
Hi Judy, good for you. It's a fun project to learn a language as an adult. We were all trying Italian while we were there the last three months and now I'm back to trying to pick up German. Picking up blurbs of conversation and hearing the different languages is one of the many things I enjoy about doing these walks. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. -H
Beautiful walking🚶♂️🚶♀️video indeed, thanks for sharing 👍. Your videos are my inspiration to record more walking videos of Delhi and other Indian cities. 🙏😊🇮🇳
Yes, a cultural tragedy. Hopefully all the billionaires that pledge money for reconstruction will start fulfilling their promises soon, so restoration can begin. -Henry
Unfortunately, no. Most of my walks are serendipitous and walks of discovery. It's very challenging to retrace my steps on google maps so I stopped doing that. I've been experimenting with using a gps tracker but I've got to get better about remembering to turn it on. This walk is from 2017. My more recent walks I started calling out street names to help people follow along though. All the best. -H
Hi, thanks for the question. If you mean, how long from Sacre Coeur to Notre Dame, it was about an hours walk but you could probably do it in 45 mins. You could also take a bus or the metro and get there in about 15 minutes. -Henry
Shame you couldn't go through the park. It would have been a nice walk. Easter Mass was relocated to St Eustache after the fire at Notre Dame en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Eustache,_Paris Still was a nice walk btw
Thank you for creating this channel. I love taking these walks. Your information is well timed and not intrusive. Thanks again.
Paula Vukonich thank you so much, and I’m so glad that you enjoyed the walk and of the other videos. And, thanks for the feedback as well. - Henry

If you get up early enough before the crowds swarm the main attractions or if you go down the side streets then YES, absolutely. -
Can't think of a more intriging city for an early morning stroll. Even their litter and trash has an artistic flair.

Welcome! and Thanks so much -H
Just did this treadmill walk .... brilliant! Paris looks so clean and couldn't see any overweight people
Hi Robyn, walking will do that for sure. And I think they eat less processed foods than we do in the states which also helps. -H
Beautiful walk, Henry. So sad about what happened to Notre Dame. : (

47:20 What is that beautiful fountain called?
I believe it is the Fontaine des Innocents. Thanks for watching - Henry
i think ur pace is absolutely fine! Any more slowing down would make the vids too lengthy n stretched unnecessarily.
Great feedback. Thanks for the comment. -H
It's like your my tour guide :)
Happy to be of service :-) -Henry
Thanks a lot for this
My pleasure. So happy you enjoyed it. -H

Your natural pace is fine. No need to slow down.
Thanks for the letting me know. love getting feedback. -H
Definitely need more narration about where you are and what's going on.
Great input. Thanks so much for leaving a comment and watching. -Henry
Great tour! Hoping you can put a caption if it is not too much to ask?.. ☺️
Have you tried using the Closed captioning? It should show up there. Thanks for the comment -Henry
Hi! But the captioning isn’t working.. huhuhu
Being tall, you'd fit right into Amsterdam. I'd never seen anywhere else as many tall men and women and children as I have in that city.
I might need to go there to shop for clothes -H
I appreciate your speed of walking. A little bit more narrative shall be more attractive. Thanks.
Noted! Thanks. -H
Are there downloadable maps of the walk or google map?

how long you took to reach there?

Where was the funicular at the bottom located at ?
Penny Whitaker it’s at the bottom of the park below Sacre Coeur. At the bottom looking up, it is located to the left.
