SCP-3914 │ Necrocapitalism │ Keter │ Uncontained SCP
Item #: SCP-3914
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: As of the time of writing, all members of SCP-3914 remain uncontained and active. Given the considerable resources SCP-3914 has at its disposal, any operation to contain the group as a whole has been deemed infeasible.

Average Stellaris playthrough honestly
No wonder my Amazon Prime delivery is too quiet and efficient these days, they found a workaround to driver shortage.
Well, not being a terrible company, run by evil people, who treat their employees like meaningless, replaceable cogs would have required work and basic humanity.
@@dantesinporno XD Yeah, and now the D-Class turned out to be a bad idea, not only on the ethical side.
Tbh as a delivery driver for them, the scp foundation does seem more ethical at times.
Wtf are you talking about “efficient” ???? I waited 3 weeks for a computer chair from Amazon when I pay for Prime…. The warehouse was in my state 💀
Check out SCP-5821...
Aside from the foundation being so easily blindsided by a supply chain disruption, I find it shocking that deceased operatives aren't at least cremated by default.
Seems like an obvious action to take.
Given the Foundation knows about necrothaumaturgy, yeah, cremation seems like the first logical step to ensuring long-term security and preventing deceased personnel from being exploited.
And the fact they didn't do any scanning or testing of the MTF who openly disclosed a close encounter with the 3914 instances that can instantly kill with a touch and reanimate the recently dead with full sapience but complete submission to the reanimator's commands?
That kind of close encounter with known entities would necessitate at LEAST a secure scan during the debriefing before giving them access to any Foundation sites or facilities just to be safe.
Obvious... until you take into account just how the higher ups work. They don't cremate probably exactly because that way it will be less problematic to bring back operatives in case of some event. They almost never throw out anything that can possibly be used, including the dead, unless threatened by an actual XK.
That being said, who knows how many old the chosen sites are. They could predate the foundations knowledge of necrothamalogy, Amaz-Inc could just be robbing 200+ year old graves of foundation personnel in hopes that something is intact enough to speak and help them.
@SleepyDice - if the author wrote their version of the Foundation to include cremation of operatives then the story would have lost a lot of its creep factor. Personally I think the author did a great job by *_*not*_* having the Foundation resort to cremation.
The supply chain angle was another great piece of writing imo; a built in weakness that ups the tension
So it sounds like you need to start writing scps😂
Who could have predicted that, in a world of Crazed Murder Creatures and Reality-Benders and literal Gods, the thing that breaks down the Foundation as a whole the quickest is a fucking Megacorporation.
Multinational megacorporations, the true Eldritch horrors.
@@MichaelDeHaven
The drive that is required for a human being to become a leading individual of a megacorporation is alien and horrifying to most people.
If. It isn't wearing a mask.
Otherwise, I'm sure the absolute majority of people wouldn't want to be led or manipulated by typical characters of the ASPD-spectrum in the first place.
Selfishness tends to ruin cooperation. Which is what the defensible aspects of our civilization are based on.
I needed this-
A classic case of the real monster being something not supernatural
I mean they haven't broken down the foundation, just crippled it enough to get their full attention. Nothing difficult about containing this one given the tools available to the foundation if they are all directed towards it.
How irredeemably evil is your corporation? SCP Classification.
K-Class Scenario would be worse.
Add Walmart to that list
They are fighting the jailers, so they are easily the good guys here.
Nestle basically
@@dantekinkade8765 oh no, 3914-A instances have found the comment section :(
Amazon hitting the SCP where it hurts, right in the bureaucracy
Uff!
Got to love to see it happen
this made me chuckle, joke approved
Beauracracy is basically the Foundation's "super power". Paper clips, fluorescent lighting, and stale coffee in break rooms. Goldenrod folders, metal filing cabinets. Mind numbing mundanity and paperwork. Concrete and procedure. It makes perfect sense that the Foundation's match would be Amazon.
This isn't bureaucracy, this is corporate monopoly. Very very different
SCP Auditor: What do you consider to be the biggest threat to the SCP Foundation?
05 Council: Amazon
According to the story of dr bright fighting Jeff bazoz, yes
Money and greed currently rules the entire world, so it wouldnt be far off
Fun fact, Amazon had me evicted during covid, tore my home of 15 years down and built a warehouse on my dogs grave and refused to let me remove her casket in real life. As far as im concerned, we can let the GOC handle this one.
They easily could have paid you, they just hate us. They dont see us as human.
Wtf, bro I'm sorry
What the fuck??! Holy shit that is cartoonishly evil, like a Disney villain
Seriously? Fuck them you should get a lawyer if you go low enough they might just settle to make you go away.
This *has* to be fake right? Evictions were pretty much halted entirely during COVID, I don't see how even amazon could have managed that. Also, a warehouse takes more than 2.5 years to build, and I'm fairly sure there are quite specific laws in place to prevent the destruction of human-created burial sites.
It really gives "hostile takeover" a new meaning
I'm sorry, did the Good Doctor just say all Alexas are actually spirits forcibly bound to their devices?
That explains a lot
Oh
That would not suprise me at all. At least we now know where all those unaccompanied kids that disappeared after crossing the US border went.
I remember when Alexa would just straight up insult you for random things now its all soulless and mechanical and it isn't mean anymore its what careing what other people can do to a person I guess
@@Knights_Oathknowing the south of the US their souls probably work hard labor
Jesus. This SCP manages to be disturbing in a way I haven't quite felt before.
In a world of strange beings and phenomena that make the night a little darker, 3914 is that quiet horror taking place right in front of our eyes - and damn, does it feel at-home. The banal corporate greed at the heart makes the read all the more compelling.
Of course the international spook agency struggles to combat corporate - the only non-state body able to fund the same tricks that they pull.
Sorry but our government is doing a for better job at ruining everyone's lives than any corporation.
I do like the idea though that, this thing is SO EVIL that it CAN'T be "just human".
ok mr ai
the idea of an anomalous company engaging in economic war with the foundations front companies is pretty unique
As a former Amazon employee, I can absolutely agree with this 😂
nice attempt at reverse psychology there SCP 3194-A, we know the reality now.
Look a reanimated corpse 😮
@marceloaranibar8802 it's been feeling that way lately 😅
Jeff Bezos being a reanimated corpse bought back to be a figurehead for Amazon is just hilarious.
Waiting patiently for Mark Zuckerberg to be classified as an SCP. (unless he already has?)
Totally different conspiracy there as Zuck's obviously an android.
He is mentioned in "Log Of Anomalous Items, Vol III".
Excerpt from the page.
Note:"Well, please remind me to keep Karen in the tests. The arguments made by my fellow colleagues were extremely violent and rapidly went out of control. Don't think we'll need more arguments about Mark Zuckerberg being a lizard overlord or not, because the clear answer is a yes and we do not need to inquire about it again." Dr. Kyle
That would explain his reaction after coming back from space
Definitely here for these anti corporate ones (last week being the one against Japanese corporate culture and this one being antiAmazon)
Same
definitely not. i want to be unnerved by SCPs. not laughing at them for having a sociopolitical focus LMFAO
So edgy
@@spimbles I mean to each their own. You aren't unnerved by the idea of people being robbed of their will and exploited? Weird.
@blehbleh6162 Not really sure how that in any way meets any definition of edgy. More empathetic with working people.
That's an extremely welcome change of pace from the usual 'eldritch entity is trying to murder the universe' or general 'violent monster goes bump in the night' stuff.
There’s so many of these kinds of SCPs that just never really see attention outside of the official wiki unfortunately
Definitely. I love eldritch horror, but breaks in the “world ending/ended” action are nice
@ThaUltimateHunter they’re not even necessarily writing for the sake of horror anymore. There’s been multiple SCPs in the later series that are written to be wholesome, sad, comedic or just for the sake of lore. Not that there aren’t any scary SCPs being written anymore necessarily, just that they’re branching out. There’s only so many ideas you can write about in a massive collaborative writing community that’s been going on for over a decade
There's not that many of those they just tend to be more popular
That one hits far too close to reality
Someone needs to name their band necrocapitalism
That sounds like a punk or metal band name
It really isn’t that far fetched to believe of necromancy was real, cooperations would absolutely use it reanimate courses and make them employees.
It may seem cliche now, but the modern concept of zombies as a metaphor for unthinking, relentless consumerism stuck around for a reason.
Cool it with the antisemitic remarks
@@RonBadgleyThe what?
The undead wouldn't ve employees, they would be slaves. I doubt they would be paying the zombies for their work. They would most likely be a cheap labor force that probably only cost them an upfront cost.
This reminds me of something I heard about Hatian zombies, like hot they were slaves brought back to continue working for their masters because the horror was that even death could not release them
The worst part.. it could be closer to truth than we could be comforatble with...
Depending on the world version, the foundation can be expected to nuke the entire head quarters of Amazon and cover it up somehow.
Canon event
God I wish
Just a big bash on Bezos’ bald head
I'm currently watching this from the GEG2 FC. I can confirm many of my coworkers are zombies or otherwise smell like the dead. I can provide information, accounts, and personal anecdotes.
Also I laugh heartily at the idea that Jeff is just a zombie figurehead. That's pretty great.
He’s already half way there due to not having a soul (metaphorically)
I know there's no cannon, but I would have liked to see this one coincide with the one where Jeff is actively working with the foundation to keep people from eating him.
It is spelled "canon" in this instance btw.
But yeah, it would be interesting if there was some kind of further interaction explained involved Bezos lol.
i love when people confuse cannon with canon
does make sense though, no cannons around here
@@tezla1530 I'd like to blame autocorrect, but I really don't know for sure that I didn't type it that way.
@@BunniRabbi Maybe it's actually another scp...
@tibbygaycat I suppose there are a lot of scps you could create on the premise of resolving scps to each other.
Whaaaat? The Bottle Pissing Clan being evil? Well I never!
Surprised their first reaction isn't to just give financial support to unionization efforts being made inside the company.
@@salomaogomes7311 Honestly the SCP foundation doing covert unionization support, is the funniest solution to this
@@jalioswilinghart They've already tampered with the US presidential election, if you consider SCP-5004 to be cannon, wich I most definatly do
@@salomaogomes7311then the necromancers would just target the Union supporters to slaughter even more than they probably already are. I wouldn’t be surprised if a decent number of their “warehouse staff” used to be people who were anti-capitalist who they decided to recycle
A little off topic, but it's rather horrifying to hear that (assuming the names of the listed board members are true to real life) there's a Stonecipher at the head of Amazon. There's one at Boeing, one at Amazon, gotta wonder what other mega-corporations the family has their fingers in....
Assuming they are real and actually related it's unfortunately not that surprising. Power begets power.
@@MichaelDeHaven reality overshadows the craziest fantasies.

@@milliondollarmistake ah, thanks for the info!
Still crazy that two wealthy and likely less than pleasant people share a last name pronounced the same. If reality was a novel, I would call the writer a hack, lol!
It's def very tribal behavior...

Not me listening to this while delivering for Amazon 🤣🤣🤣 And on Easter, no less

I can't even imagine giving up an important day just for another day of wage slavery.
@@yaelz6043well like you said, it’s wage SLAVERY. Slaves aren’t exactly allowed to do what they want
Talk about a dead end job.
The pattern screamers have passed by, only echoes remain.
I’m using these videos to keep track of what day of the week it is.
Please, consider the following: 🗓️
“Arise, prime members.”
"this job will kill ya, but you still cant quit"
That explains a lot.
Brings a new meaning to “over my dead body”
Amazon: Your wish is granted
Most believable SCP entry to date.
Jeff Bezos is already metaphorically a reanimated corpse since he lacks any humanity, so him being a literal reanimated corpse wouldn’t be a meaningful change
i love the clinical tactfulness uses to describe something that i would describe as "AMAZON IS RUN BY NECROMANCERS AND JEFF BEZOS IS A FLESH HOMUNCULUS"
Amongst the most disturbing by far
I see you and raise “The Aristocrats”
This explains why the first Amazon warehouse in [REDACTED], NV shut down.
So these are the corporate ghouls everyone’s been talkin about

You're right @@mattking7238
@@mattking7238You’re correct.
Not really. Go to the website and look up the different classifications, and how they work.
Some have suggested a separation between danger level and reality defiance.
Natural, preturnatural, paranormal, supernatural and transcendent.
Does the ability of 3914-4 (the guy who binds ghosts to stuff) imply that all alexas have souls?
Faking warehouse robots and home AI with necromancy. Smart.
Technically they are robots, they’re just made of rotting flesh instead of metal and silicon
Unironically one of the spookiest SCPs I have ever heard…
If I were part of the foundation, the grave robbing wouldn't lower my morale. It would switch on kill mode.
Jeff Bezos is an SCP.
And I thought SCP couldn't get more bizarre.
The Zuck is probably one too.maybe Elon as well
@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds. Nah I get what he's saying fr. This is like real world figure that is currently trending type of weird though. It's not exactly Basement Cat.
He's actually more than one SCP. It would be fun to see a story where they reconcile them.
Flashbacks to the 2pac SCP
Also yeah I know there's more bizarre stuff, I just commented this for comedic effect because I thought it was funny that Jeff Bezos has been incorporated into the SCP world, but I suppose my joke's not funny if I have to explain it
The Foundation have access to such advanced research and weapons, hundreds of years of practice at their craft and the backing of most world governments, yet a megacorp is able to become "unstoppable" because... money. Sounds improbable, unless one or more of the 05 council is being paid off, which would be the big realistic twist.
Well money and some really useful thaumaturgical power. It is implied here quite a few of the Foundations connections in said governments and industries could easily be or already have been made into undead minions.
Considering megacorps rule the world through money in real life, that seems perfectly likely.
This SCP sounds entirely too believable.
MC&D should know about this. They might have grounds for a 'look and feel' suit.
Bezos is literally a zombie, and all Alexas are enslaved spirits... brilliant stuff! 😂👏
Addendum from Researcher Marlone:
I always knew that SCP 3914 - 0 didn't have a soul, but I wasn't expecting that he was actually a zombie, or a corporate puppet. To be honest was expecting it to be some kind of alien, daevite, or even robot...But this raises some questions, if he is an instance of SCP-3914-A why don't control his behavior better, I mean as a person (Or a least the ghost of one) he is despicable, and various aspects of his persona are hated by the general public and the media.....So why the members of SCP - 3914 don't change his personality to make him less problematic? Is it because they approve of the way that Bezos behaves and are actually okay with him, or is it actually because can only make SCP 3914 - 0 follow their orders, but in the way the personality of the persona of SCP-3914 - 0 would do it. If is the last case true, that would explain a lot about SCP 3914 - 0, and the reason why SCP-3914 tolerates him when his statements have damaged the Amazon image...But it is only the first case, all the members of SCP-3914 are simply [CENSORED].
In any case, the only thing that I'm completely sure of is that Carter, Marshall and Dark must be involved. Where money goes they go, and SCP-3914 has a lot of it.
One of the most horrifying anomalies the SCP Foundation has faced... "Capitalism"
What I love so much about SCP is how each story identifies and agitates the very real fears within society; in this case, fear of Corporations, Capitalism, and even the Amazon Corporation specifically. Very cool!
This is such a cool SCP. This is why I love theVolgun I learn about SCPs I've never known about, and this one is such a cool idea. One of my favorites so far
The scp universe is a different one to our own... That being said it feels like there's some overlap here.
Having an SCP about a perfectly normal corporation doing perfectly normal corporate things seems kind of boring. 🙄
Most disturbing by far ngl! Keter simply always comes with some insane and disturbing SCP'S that we've probably never seen nor heard or heard [unless we all know the SCP 682 , SCP 106 and no other SCP 939 and SCP 035 ,think there is more to explore] . As of right now hearing about this SCP 3914 being explained , literally it's something interesting to see !
As always ,a great job man !
Unless it's something like 4999, who accompanies people so they don't die alone.
There ability's are less interesting then the fact that they are actively seeking out and attacking the SCP foundation.
Who woulda guessed that corporate capitalism would be what puts the brakes on the efficiency of a bureaucracy like the foundation 👀
No way, the author used the actual members of the real-life Amazon board of directors 😆
its an anti-globalist video
"There is no ethical demise under necrocapitalism."
This would explain Amazon's annoyance with employees having to use the bathroom.
its terrifying to know that the fact that these companying in this video are real an can basically attack other companies like this in real life (financially i mean)
I don't know if anyone has made this connection but Zombies have their name origins from Vodou where it is believed that a person's soul can anomalously be separated from their body due to something related to death. It is said that the belief in this type of undead and the related myths came from slaves being fearful that they would be forced to serve their masters even after death.
You know it's bad when a corporation can successfully put a dent in the SCP foundation.
I love how Volgun needs to hold back a chuckle when reading that Amazon workers are actualy reanimated corpses.
The fictional Amazon of the SCP universe is somehow less evil than the real deal because at least here they reanimate dead bodies, instead of overworking living ones.
Careful now, you know how these big corporations are trigger happy when it comes to lawsuits.
The terms of service for Amazon Prime are killer.
Da king is back baby he neva miss we're eating good today y'all
I got a giggle out of how you said "sotto voce" at the end of the video. I know, I'm a bad person, but I couldn't help it.
Great vid as always. Cheers!
That feeling when you work for Corning Incorporated and you learn your CEO is not only a necromancer but is apparently also on the Amazon board of directors. Remind me again not to piss off Wendell, I enjoy my two-day deliveries.
I always thought a number of public figures looked suspiciously corpse-like. Explains a lot really
Yet another banger from TheVolgun :) Happy Easter everyone!

geez -049 would have a fuckin field day with one of these undead things.
You know any SCP with the word “capitalism” is going to be fricken terrifying.
Bit of a continuity error, as far as I'm aware: the article mentions containment protocols to prevent an "SK-class broken masquerade event", but later mentions Scranton Reality Anchors as a technology actively in use by the Foundation. I remember being told that Scranton Reality Anchors are part of a Foundation timeline where a Broken Masquerade Event already occurred
Containement procedure: cease the means of production trought a worker/proletary revolution, task force Gamma 7 - Chain breakers is responsible for preventing reactionary action against containement of 3914.
love the recent uptick in anticapitalist scps that have been appearing on this page recently with this one and the last one
Hard to believe that a Cadre of billionaire necromancers would be the ONE thing to so stymy the Foundation.
alexa is implied to be millions of reanimated dead souls and i love that notion
Ok, this one is truly banging. Bump.
So that's why the motherboard I ordered a few weeks back didnt ever show up and was refunded
Intriguing idea, too bad the scp is so short. The confrontation between Amazon and the foundation could have been described in much more detail.
Yes. Way to short. I imagine that amazon was formed magically by either people who "know what's up" but more likely someone who doesn't REALLY know the score.
I can imagine a scene where Carter Marshall and dark black list because "we find a future doing business with you highly unprofitable. Because while dealing in things man wasn't meant to know is our bread and butter what is not on our menu is dealing with people who continue to antagonize things we know Very Well. We do not want to be in the blastzone when the foundation chooses to drop the hammer."
One of the more realistic SCP'S. Contamination of a flesh virus? Nah. Clockwork virus, too much effort.
Using SCP's for financial gain? Sign my corpse up!
Guess SCP foundation has really good lawyers.
as a former employee this is all 100% true, those whom they can't use to further their dark goals they cast aside, when i got out they had just shortened the time of task allowance from 10 minutes to 5 meaning if you had to use the restroom and were too far down the green mile or you were on one of the lifts you got docked for every restroom break or trip to the water cooler.
Ayoo 😂 early for a Volgun upload!
Global paramilitary network with advanced technology and anomalous capabilities can't kill 8 wizards?
Are we sure these SCPs are just stories? Because this explains way too much 😮
The scariest part of this is the fact that it involved embedding operatives in Amazon. That's just cruel and unusual. 😱
Hey, we need to contain this guy, where does the containment procedure say to take them? That would be a really important detail to know.
... ok you're not going to like this.
Does this mean we can't buy Volgun or SCP-logoed merch on Amazon?
Of course you can!
Any possessed items are, of course, purely coincidental and Amazon cannot be held liable for the products produced by its affiliate partners.
God bless American Necrocapitalism!
