You got me dancing, Yeah! Complain as you will about the disco era, I loved my Rayon shirt, polyester leisure suit and platform shoes with the 1.5 inch soles and 3 inch heels. Nothing like a dance floor that lights up and a mirrored ball rotating above your head. Yes, all this in a small town in South Dakota. And now, you have to go on a senior's cruise to hear it live. Say, where's my Piña Colada anyway? Thanks for the memories Rui (and good ones at that). 🕺
Oh, I never complain about Disco, in my view it's a style of music that transcends the decades after its peak in the 70s, look at the crazy details and the amount of layers these guys put in a dance song, and it was contagious, you can't stay put. This wasn't just a commercial product, it was also art.

Olá Rui: When I saw the black label with yellow letters on the vinyl, I thought it was a compilation or special edition with the greatest hits of the Bee Gees. This is the arch-famous soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever. 🧐 I had never seen that label before. The sound is impeccable, as your channel is used to. I would like to have a more refined approach, which one is better, the original Master NM edition or this Remastered? Muitos cumprimentos!
Hello Raul. Well, I know that several Bee Gees albums had the RSO label with the little red cow in it, and I saw this same album with that label many years ago, but in recent years I've found this album with this black/yellow label, and if you look at the bottom of the label you will find a small "r", which is the symbol of the "Reprise Records", a recording company founded by Frank Sinatra in 1960. Sometimes the same album has a label in one part of the world, but a completely different label in another part of the world. I will not pretend that I understand this complex matter of labels and record companies, because I really don't understand. It's too much for me. 😋😋 As for your question, I would bet that an original Master NM edition is superior to this one, but I can't be sure.

Some of the peaks are clipped in the audio to this video. Perhaps the audio for the video was recorded at a too-high volume level. Two dB down would be perfect to avoid clipping, and allow one to determine if the recording that was used to cut the vinyl is compressed. It appears very lightly compressed along with the clipping. I compared it to my MFSL CD track 13 (same).
