Thank you Sir your prompt response.
The 3 video on PT, I have already watched out, expecting few more video on performance tuning(including AWR analysis with basic thumb rules.).

Hello Ramkumar,
Thanks for explanation. Can you please help me to understand few doubts.
Aaj per the Database point of view, how a developer can identify a perticular query or piece of code is undergoing row MIGRATION or row CHAINING.
It is not possible, to check in Data dictionary table always for each query we run, if it is going through migration or chaining. Can you please let me know who can we get this sorted Permanently.
Regards,
Ranaj Parida.
Sir, Do the blocks of the datafile are reserved on the disk when the datafile is created or they will grow as the object grows till it reaches the maximum size of the file? Please clear it...
The Blocks for the datafile are created when the datafile is created. The number of blocks depends on the size. If you extend the datafile... then more blocks are added...
@@RamkumarSwaminathan Thank u very much sir.....
Hello Sir nice video on extent management.
Could you please tell when you are planning to make video on RAC and performance tuning?
+Naveen Singh thanks for the feedback, performance playlist is there Oracle Database Performance: ua-cam.com/play/PL3Hc8S1SG2AQBne3XvISEIn3x0NqUBND_.html
+Naveen Singh will start RAC soon
if we set pctfree=0 ,which means there is no space reserved for updates in a block. so , if we update the row of a block whose pctfree=0 , will the update work ?
If the row needs more space for the update it will migrate to another block
