Honestly, Warframe has so many things like this that on their own would be the "entirety" of other games that big devs would put out for full price. I know some of that comes from the game being in ongoing development for so many years, but I think a big part of it is just that the devs have a passion for what they do, and love to see what new fun designs they can come up with. Some of it doesn't get as fleshed out as it should as a result, sure, but it means that everyone can find a frame or two that just clicks for them on a personal level and have fun with it playing how they want to play.

They want to feel the thrill of the moment with the speed they are achieving by just running not flying like brain rotted titania mains where they just press W and they go forward.
