This is something I find quite interesting about humanity, they are able to empathize even though it’s fiction, empathy and love are truly amazing traits of human kind
"Professor. Is this all real, or is it just happening inside my head?" "Of course it's happening inside your head Harry. But why should that mean that it's not real?"
Many people in the audience, in fact basically everyone on this planet has lost a wise and older man who means a lot to them. It doesn’t matter that it’s fiction it still hurts which is why we’re easily able to empathise, even if you haven’t had that loss, you’ve lost people who mattered in your lives, ex partners, etc. The loss feels the same. Just thought I’d share :)
All comments I can say you are all right fiction music and love brings people together we mourn together and we can feel together humans can do great things when we work together ❤️
Update September 28, 2023: This scene hits me so hard because I'm really incredibly saddened to hear of the death of Sir Michael Gambon, he brought immeasurable joy to Harry Potter fans from all over the world with his humour, kindness and grace. We will forever hold his memory in our hearts. Wands up for Michael Gambon!
This is literally the only time I would accept someone pulling out their phone while in a theatre, let alone turning the flashlight on. Any other scenario, I would choke them out.
This happened when Maggie Smith died Friday. Me and Woody.EXE paid tributes by creating an 89th year with our EXE powers which were revealed publicly for the very first time ever and the whole of my steer came out raising wands as if the 89 number was appearing from their wands. Woody.EXE comforts a grieving me as everyone was rising their wands and then the 89 we created disappeared after a minute of mourning.
Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love.” - Albus Dumbledore. RIP Sir Michael Gambon, you will never be forgotten.
Rest In Peace Michael Gambon, You'll always be remembered as Albus Dumbledore and will always stay in our hearts and minds. Thank you for being a huge part of our childhood. "To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure." "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" "You think the dead we loved truly ever leave us? You think we don't recall them more clearly in times of great trouble?" "Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living and above all, those who live without love." "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." - Albus Wulfric Percival Brian Dumbledore
This happened as I honoured the victims of United 93; I was doing the normal service until I saw 40 candles lit and I just collapsed by the memorial crying my heart out and using one of the victims last words hit me so hard and then the candles lit during the minute silence for them. One of the most haunting experiences ever in a memorial service I’ve witnessed. Before leaving the service in Wales, I looked back at the memorial again and said the “let’s roll” phrase again whilst hugging the memorial as respect. The 22nd anniversary of 9/11 was haunting
I was saddened to hear about his passing recently. I actually did a tribute like this for 9/11 and everyone in my ceremony hardly said anything as I cried my heart out as 40 phone torches lit up in memory of those who died on united 93. This happened at night so it was incredibly emotional seeing 40 candles lit and during the minute silence, phone lights started coming on. I can’t believe Woody.EXE ordered this for the 22nd anniversary whilst I collapsed crying near our united 93 memorial and my sister comforting me was gut wrenching
This... is beyond words. From the cameraman to the people going along with the scene. It is too precious to be described easily. One of the most emotional scenes in Harry Potter, and the best tribute I have ever seen uploaded on UA-cam. I can't... 🥲😭 A hidden gem.
TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 28 2023. TODAY IS THE DAY WE REALLY SAY FAREWELL TO DUMBLEDORE. REST IN PEACE PROFESSOR. WE LOVED YOU SO MUCH. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR CHILDHOOD BEAUTIFUL.
Never will I forget HP, that's something that will be ingrained in my brain indefinitely, the raw beauty and excellence of this franchise put together with the loving fans make it so much harder for me to not cry. No matter how many times I watch this over and over again, I will forever ball my eyes out, the true love this scene shows and emotion that it develops just makes me the saddest but happiest person in the world. Always.
This part always get me every time even ginny is comfort harry while he was crying & I can imagine me hugging him so i know that me & ginny are there for him right by his side no matter what ☺️
This happened on the 22nd anniversary of 9/11; my sister comforted me as we both honoured the brave passengers of flight 93. I looked back and the whole united 93 memorial had 44 candles lit, we all had a minute of reflection as we held our candles. This was held at the private United 93 Memorial in Wales that I had opened as Queen days prior to the Anniversary
Now Maggie smith has died on Friday. On Friday night, Woody.EXE and I told everyone to light 89 candles and the whole of Wales was lit 89 times. I literally crying as it happened and we both were absolutely devastated. Woody.EXE sees me depressed coming home from work today and we continued remembering her
I was heartbroken when my sister told me that he died and we were true Harry Potter fans and Woody.EXE’s tribute was stunning and I had my Hermione wand with me for the first time in years. The way Wales suddenly lit up because of him
That's the shit I literally live for! Love it! I don't care if it's fiction. The entire franchise brought so many people together. They felt the emotions collectively... To me THAT is magic!
Es increíble que una simple escena me haga emocionar. La gente y las luces, la música, todo. Que increíble y mágica historia creaste JK rowling.. mis respetos
Did anyone notice the person in the upper section who stood up with an actual wand at 1:16? Sorry if I'm being dumb and everyone did. I also noticed that he flicked his wand off at the end of the scene, too. I wonder if that was a fan or if the cinema planned it. Loved it either way.
Quando eu era mais novo, eu li o livro. Nos trechos da morte do Dumbledore, seu funeral e a partida de Fawkes, eu comecei a chorar pois estava ouvindo essa música...
This happened during a memorial for the victims of flight 93, I looked around seeing 40 candles lit, played the united 93 ending paying my respects by curtsying to the memorial itself and everyone cried during this. I’m glad Woody.EXE had such guts to put an intense tribute together like this. RIP to those who died in the twin towers and united 93 2001 - 2023

Thats not human kind, this is pure shit, empathize with fiction but not with real people or world? Lol
All comments I can say you are all right fiction music and love brings people together we mourn together and we can feel together humans can do great things when we work together ❤️
Yet they can't empathise with each other in real life .
The way the entire building lit up in sync 😭😭

This was the first time I ever shed a tear in a Harry Potter movie. That scene combined with the music took it to a whole other level right there
farewell headmaster 😢🪄 rip Michael Gambon 28.9.2023
Rip Professor Dumbledore. Rip Sir Michael Gambon. You'll always be alive as Professor Dumbledore sir.

Chills, literal chills.
Wands up for Mr. Gambon
Absolutely heart wrenching scene but imagine if someone came in with that 100k Lumen flash light.
This hits harder now that both Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith are gone. Dying one year apart. 😢
R.i.P. MICHAEL "DUMBLEDORE" GAMBON... This Score hits different right now...

My friends, it’s time to do it again for the great Michael Gambon.😢

This video hits home more now cause day I’m writing this Michael gambon has died
R.I.P. Michael Gambon. You will always be in our hearts.♥
In Dragon Ball orchestra concerts, people raise their hands when the Genki Dama theme appears. I suppose it is something only post-modernity can do...
27.09.2023 Rest In Peace.
"Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise"
Rip Sir Michael Gambon *wand up*
Now this really hurts 💔 Rest easy, Professor.
I was there. That was so intense.
From this video alone, you can tell who are witches and wizards and who are muggles.

Just like the ones before

Those are wands or smarthphones flashlights??
Judging by the reach, most likely light-up wands, but maybe a handful of them are people with long arms and smartphones.🤷♂️
Smartphones :)
