Great video! This was exactly what I was looking for. We're in shutdown right now and I needed a video to show my low vision student how to load paper. Thank you!
Thank YOU! This video was extremely helpful. I have been a Braillist for about a year in Austin, Texas with Austin Independent School District. While I have some knowledge about a Brailler, and only one workshop in taking apart, cleaning, and putting it back together, I have never learned how to actually use a Brailler. In my job, we generally have a computer using Microsoft Word and Duxbury and an Embosser. As we don't have that luxury currently, the Perkins Brailler is the next best option. My coworker has 14 years of experience, but I am still in the early stages of learning the ins and outs of Braille. I've come a long way in the past 15 months and I'm excited for this opportunity to progress in my job and knowledge and skills.
Helpful video! But why is there no audio description of the text in the titles at the beginning of the video? The lack of voiceover there and less-detailed description of some of the brailler anatomy makes this inaccessible for a lot of my students.
I wanted to make a birthday card for my blind wife, failed at inserting the paper. Thank you for putting this online.
Thank goodness I found this, thank you

Thought my sons brailler was broken apparently the knobs on the side were not all the way rolled away from me :)
The paper should go in vertically, not horizontal. I wasn't able to figure out how to put paper in with this video.
