Yes no one really have dug deep into the process more of end results I think flunk films is the closest to being detailed
Old audis are the most slept on cars ever. You can get a proper Torsen AWD, 4 doors, and a super tunable engine for less than $10k, along with a comfy interior. Manuals are hard to find but the DCT/paddles are more than usable.

Ngk 7 heat range plugs
I just need the k04 to reach my goal of 350hp

Nice! I just dropped my motor off at headmaster in nj fully built motor planning to post some of what I’m doing to it on my other channel. 3 angle valve job, oversized pistons , IE rods, oversized valve wit brass guides. Well u know the rest 😅I was gonna use that turbo but didn’t want it to make more power than my E36 which is currently making a little over 600whp so I went with the boss 500😊
Excited to see where this goes. A slow torque curve will keep the cheese in the rods from melting I hear.

I've got the BOSS600 on my EA888 B8... Definitely needed an upgraded lift pump...also the upgraded HPFP to get the most out of it...forged internals... Snow and running a custom HP Tuners tune... Also, custom Level 10 ZF transmission... The mods never end. 🤓. FourRings member... hope to see you at a meet. 👍🏁
definitely brother. did you do a custom tune , or a standard big turbo one, and your car sounds sick
@@brucecustommotors it's a custom tune. I hired a tuner from Canada to write the base tune. I've since refined it. Happy to share it with you if you're planning to go the HP Tuner route.

Flink Films has a BOSS500 b8 a4. He rebuilt the engine but it was because his engine already was unhealthy. B8 2.0 can run a BOSS500 on stock internals along with basic bolt ons. Easy 500 hp.

I have a 2008 audi a4 2.0t .... and I am having a problem getting spark to my coils to start the car .... do u have any ideas of wat it could be .... any idea would help

hey man quick question why do you run the cts catch can? The block off plate for these cars can be really catastrophic for crank case vapors and eliminates a lot of crucial pcv features. I say this because I ran this setup on my Boss600 a4 and it caused a ton of exhaust smoking and I found myself emptying the catch can quite a bit so I ditched for a stock PCV. No hate just wondering if you have some insight on this

Build your motor with forged materials, it only takes 1 week.
It would be more expensive to have the rod thrown out of the block,
it's inevitable.
The stock dl501 can take it.
Everytime I turn on my car (b8 a5 stage 2) it sputters until it’s semi warm… I’ve recently changed my coils to r8 ones and new spark plugs and it still sputters on start up. Any thoughts on what this could be? Thank you :)

What's the limitation of the engine block itself? We know the internals need to be upgraded before 500 hp, at least based upon other builds.
I’ve seen a stock block take 640 on the dyno, but don’t know how long that would last as a daily
The EA888 is a closed deck block. Forged crank with 4 bolt main caps (2 per side)...also factory piston oil squirters...it's vastly underrated. With Forged rods and pistons easily 750+++...
@@jouleskelvin Did you follow the guy with the A4 who went big turbo and broke his rods? That was probably less then 500 HP at the time.

What air intake is that
I'm sorry but I'm realistic, that turbo isn't going to proceed low end torque. On a 2.0L with a 64mm turbo you'll send a rod out the block before you do that.
That’s a lot of HP for a four cylinder. Obviously need to remove the hood or do some alterations.
I’m thinking fueling, will be the key, also cutting back on torque so the transmission can handle the tune, when trying to go above 650 hp

I know they have their engine sideways but is it the same thing, meaning if they can do it we should be able to as well. If so why does it seem like they get all the mods or at least more support?
