- Hey y'all! Firstly, if you're here from the Starkid stream, welcome! Thanks so much for tuning in :) I was so thrilled that the folks over at Starkid asked to show this on the stream! Thanks so much you guys! And if you HAVEN'T heard of Starkid, now's the perfect time to get into them! They have a Kickstarter for a new musical happening RIGHT NOW! (I'll put it in the links below)
This is a project I worked on for about the course of a month or so and it's just a little tribute to my love for the musical Nerdy Prudes Must Die! It has the incredible music of Jeff Blim, with orchestrations by Matt Dahan, two musical powerhouses! As well as vocals by both Mariah Rose Faith Casillas and Joey Richter!
I wanna thank Jess Mahone, Megan Lloyd, and Ken O'Connor for showing me Nerdy Prudes and everything Starkid, and for being just incredibly awesome and supportive all the time. I also wanna thank Mariah Rose Faith Casillas for some help with a little easter egg in one of the backgrounds ;D Also a thanks to Miles Cooper for his suggestion to put the Lords in Black as stars in the final shot! Thanks so much everyone! :)
Lastly, I hope y'all enjoy! I had such a blast really going ham with the acting on this and trying my best to pull on some heartstrings. I hope it worked! hahaha

TBF, Steph is very Leia-coded. I could easily picture Steph leading a rebellion and telling fascist leaders to get fucked.

And ofc the "I love you" "I Know" bit in the reprise.

I’d watched their Beetlejuice videos so much, I thought it was maybe them but was convinced I was wrong. ^^;
I can’t lie, I wasn’t very invested in their relationship but this animatic made me finally GET it. That’s a testament to how great the acting is in your boards! That “the stars above” shot put actual tears in my eyes. You’re officially one of my favourite story artists ever.

The acting and how fluid some of these ANIMATIC movements are, IT'S SO GOOD.
I literally just watched this musical last night, your timing is just as supernatural as your talent

OHHH I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS. UGH THIS SONG IS JUST SO MEAN /pos You did such a phenomenal job!! There are so many amazing parts to this. The camera angles? The way they move around the field? Pete backing away from Steph? The TURNAROUNDS? The FOREHEAD TOUCH?? Amazing amazing amazing. The kids, they deserve the world.
