Homax Tough as Tile (spray can or roll & can epoxy paint)

The Homax Tough as Tile spray can takes about 1 week to dry thoroughly and the roll on brush on type takes over a month probably in the bottom where it pools up at 3-6 months. You will be a mask, gloves, ventilation, acid etch/scrub with boat Hull cleaner or the packets of solution provided in the kits. Use a zip lock bag or gloves to put over the faucet spout or tub spout. I recommend the hydrochloric acid boat Hull cleaner solution and then scrubbing and rinse well for 20-30 minutes and running the sink and flushing toilet a couple times to dilute the acid so it doesn't destroy the cast iron type of piping if you home has it. Use paper towels and rubbing alcohol to give the surfaces a final wipe down. Dry completely first before painting. A hair dryer helps. Then follow the painting directions provided with the Homax Tough as Tile kit types. Allow to fully dry / cure before getting wet. The product may pull off onto shampoo/conditioner bottles or soap bars. You may have to use a soap holder and put the shampoo / conditioner bottles some place else.
