i miss this game so much ;-; my favorite game of all time and i always come back to check on it with that 1% hope that something changed but unfortunately never will ;-;
Im doing the same, I came back in 1, 2022, I left, cuz was hard to watch it, now Im coming back now to if something changed for better. Im still in that 1% hopes. Im from 2013 Aion Online.
Dude, that's actually pretty sad. I remember playing this game when it came out and I thought it was really well done. I actually liked it and had fun. I thought the flying aspect was cool, I played like a ranger/hunter bow type character and I really enjoyed the skills that he had. The skills actually took some thought and you could CC chain monsters and players if you payed attention to basic strategy. It had good fundamentals as far as I could tell. I do remember leveling was quite difficult, and the crafting buffing system was also difficult. But, I genuinely enjoyed playing, can't remember why I stopped. Sad to see.
This reminds me of Tera online, I payed in EU server for 4 years, since 2013, too bad they had to shutdown the whole game last year, my character was still there.
old aion was the best, but i still remember this 2 beutiful place .. Tunapre lake (asmodians) and cliona lake (elyos) .. Aion have more beuautifull place, but most of this was unfortunely removed with updates...
Aion retail is dead but aion classic is heavily populated, expect NA. They're doing something really good with aion classic, they've finally learned from their mistakes.
@@TopTozz For the number of maps and content in the game, it's popular. The server is very active for everything, there are new players every day and with the arrival of the new class it's only going to increase the number of players. Aion classic EU is very active, and even much more so for KR. Only the NA is dead. About "classic" it won't be called like this, but "Aion Revenant" and it'll be different in future patches, and what's the problem about that? It's just better that they're making a new aion than repeating the same mistakes and people are interested in new contents. For now, they're doing very well.
@@TopTozz It's p2w but not THAT much, you need to grind a lot to get gear, paying won't do it for you but help you enchant it put manastone etc... ofc If you're talking about new players being left behind, that's not really the case, because many players are in the same situation, and there are lots of random groups for dred or wathever and there will always be players to welcome you if you're looking for a team whether you're gear or not.. Then about toxic behavior, if someone insults you in the lfg and says that no one shouldn't play with you, literrally nobody cares. Anyway, if the game doesn't suit you, then the best thing to do is simply not to play it. For many it does and for others it doesn't.
Man, Infernal is back! Good ol' times. I tried the new Revenant class, but I got the cringe immediately, there were even typos in the quest text. The classic servers are probably better and I think they had a bit more people too. Gameforge fucks everything up...
I updated to the purple launcher and can't even open the game now. It freezes my whole pc when trying to launch and i have to turn it off. makes me sad :(
@@ThisisNasko i recently reinstalled windows because of other issues i'd had and the exact same thing happened. Quite bummed about it. The launcher I had originally was the normal ncsoft one. A few others had the same issue and no luck as of yet.
This was once amongst the best mmo's, but ncsoft ruined it with their greed and incompetence! There was never enough kinar for player's needs. Spam selling it for real money was prevalent. Players who spent money to enhance their character had it all wasted when new gear was brought in and no compensation was given! Hackers who had an unfair advantage were rife, yet nothing was done about it. Ncsoft, better known as ncfail deleted so much content that reduced it to a shadow of what it once was. I left the game after 8 years of playing and all because of ncsoft! Many players i knew for years did the same! These greedy scum ruined my favourite game that i played for up to 18 hours a day sometimes, due to the time difference between the USA and Australia servers. I want to go back to it sometime with my gunner, but my old email is closed by fucking microsoft bullshit sucurity crap, so until i get a mobile phone i can't continue!
I've been thinking for a while, should i download the game ? cuz i have nothing to play these days ? also i just played tera never been on aion ? what do you recommend friendo ?
Id say it really depends on you what game you enjoy playing. But if i had to recommend from my personal experience id say try World of warcraft, Guild wars 2 and Star Wars the old republic. Those are 3 games i can always enjoy and come back to.

Yeah quite dead. Only fanboys there and older players. You rarily if almost never get to see newish players at all. So not worth buyng sub for a game 15 year old or more with less then 700 players. Let it go.

Main area with players is in Gelkmaros for Asmodians and Inggison for Elyos.

U should try Aion classic Atreia :) Full of people, ye there are bots, but where isnt... It was my childhood and now its again alive

I liked aion on first place. But it toke sooo long to level up and also i didnt find any people to dungeon in the back days

Maybe try and get a older version of the purple launcher. Or roll back your windows PC to a date before you updated the launcher.

i really wish someone will remake this game,.. its the best MMORPG for me. Like someone really do something to save this game for 2025
