Unfortunately, her burns were never properly treated, which can cause all sorts of problems. She probably should have received skin grafts, her burns were so bad. You’ll notice she scratches even as they’re healing, so the wounds opened over and over again. That’s why the scars are soooo bad. The skin is so delicate from never healing properly, it probably itches all of the time.
The show isn't a true story per se, but the bullying with a hot iron is based on a true story that happened to a student, and the part of plotting revenge on the bullies is based on a true story as well, the rest was created by the writer herself
The KDrama movie ‘Silenced’ is a true story about deaf, handicapped and orphaned children who were so abused by their teachers, principal, etc. When I heard about it, I knew I could not watch it because it was said the movie was mild to what these children actually suffered through. This was in So. Korea. This series The Glory was a great series and plan to watch it again.
If you didn’t know, the guy that was in the hospital bed is also one of the actors in Sweet Home that you guys are watching. He’s the one with the glasses.

There is a true story in Japan of a guy who planned for years and organized a reunion so he could blow up his high school bullies in one location but was caught before hand. It's somewhere on UA-cam that I watched sometime ago.

bruh the entire series itself isn't true. just the main parts of it, which is the psychotic bullying, is true. it was done to a girl in korea, 2006, where kids did the same things to her too, but in addition, they also tore her chest up with a hair pin and stole all of her money. she unfortunately didn't get justice so i think thats why the writer made this story to raise awareness about the intense bullying in korea and kinda make it a revenge plot
