Hi Paula, I only got a few minutes into the video so far, but I just want to say that even though you feel like you’ve had a rough year for project panning, you got so many products finished! Especially a lot of products that took you years of hard work! You should be proud of yourself!
Hi Paula I think you should be able to get a point for each completed shadow no matter what size it is. This year being cautious what eyeshadows you put in other projects is going to make or break your project pan for these eyeshadows. Hitting pan on the peach in the too faced pan last year was what compromised your progress in the pan that palette last year. Other eyeshadows need to just have usage goals and reserve pans or completely using shadows to this project- that’s how you will get the win this year I think. Best wishes x

The Clinique palette was not a total fail. You finished a whole shadow!!! And using up half of a large shadow in the 2nd quad is great. I actually think that CS quad is a good choice for you to work on. It's vastly different than your baby PTP so it won't be a conflict.
What are you talking about?! You did so great! You finished a whole cream shadow! You finished the NYX Milk pencil! You finished Koosh! That was huge! Your fun sized palette is so pretty and I'm happy to see the return of the 100 pan palette!
Matte white inner corner is super pretty! I find teal to be a difficult color to wear as eyeshadow, I always need to pair it with a deep green to make the look work. You could also dupe the vibes of the discontinued Kaleidos palette Electroturquoise which has the teals with bright orange, deep brown and a silver.
Really happy with your choices! The elf palette will be great for more neutral days while giving you some colors to complement the blues. And the neutrals can strengthen your baby ptp progress. I truly think if you reach for these 3 palettes consistently you will see some great pans and empties

I'm wondering, if one of those blues almost works as an inner corner highlight, since you don't like matte whites, maybe repressing the white with a blue would make it better if it's depth that's a bit off. Or even one of the light shimmery shades from the ELF palette (which I'm so glad to see is back). Edit: I love your nail polish here!
i use very light eyeshadows as a light layer of setting powder before I put on my foundation. it has made such a difference in how skin like my makeup looks and my shadow usage. For anyone interested, the steps are 1) skin care steps up to moisturizer 2) light layer of eyeshadow as setting powder or use setting poslwder of choice 3) light layee of setting spray 4) primer 5) foundation layer

A white matte that isn't too pigmented can be used for so many things!!! Use it to blend out edges, set the eye lightly, brighten the inner part or corners of the eyes. It's also really helpful if a shimmer isn't light or bright enough for the inner corner!!

The darkest shade shouldn't be too difficult to use on your lid, especially as you do darker outer corners - which shadows were you previously using for this by the way? I need to try and replicate these looks! The side piece palette 😂😂 i think you'll be super successful with it!! The fifth shade in the green column has me curious. How is your battleship project going?
Great choice Paula!! Maybe you could consider starting the year off using a clear eye base and setting it with the matte white? That way, it would be gone in no time :)
A thought on the mini pans - each of those shadows is .5g, the total quad being 2g of product. The elf pans and small color pop shadows are .9g, just for comparison! I still think you should get a full point for each one though 😆

I use a light matte shade, like your white, to brighten and open up my eyes close to my nose. It's not the inner corner, but right above that where there is a natural shadow. I saw an artist doing her eyeshadow like that on the Sephora channel. It was a video about shadows for eyes that are closer together. I've done it ever since. Those light shades are the easiest for me to pan because of that.

You don’t love a matte white, power through and finish the white as a setting shade. Start off strong for the year!

what if you re pressed the matte white cloud 9 in with the shimmer white from the maybelline quad? for usability?

For me you can have 1 point for each pan. Sometimes little pans are harder than big one. So a pan is a pan.

I’ll try to use it “as is”, but if it’s not working for me, combining it with a shimmery shadow would be a really good idea.
