Calli is like those characters from Starlight Mayhem. They sound different for some BETADCIU’s cause their English voices would sound weird in comparison.
The BETADCIU was awesome! There were so many characters. The unique scream effects were cool. 0:55 Calli is in a betadciu now 1:30 Woah! There's even Ina from the non-canon Holofunk Ina week 2:26 the jumpscares are cool 3:10 The arrows moving 3:45 and of course we have Tricky!
With the constant switching of vocals (characters), it really helps with showing the beauty of the composition that may not be as recognizable in the original. Your did an amazing job emphasizing that!

Thank you blantados. Not much people in the fnf community UA-camrs recognize the Holofunk mod, Either because they do not like vtubers, or because they simply do not know about the mod and do not play it. I hope more fnf UA-camrs get to know the Holofunk mod and give it a chance since their creators worked pretty hard on it to make it the grate mod it is. And hope that the people in general who don't know about vtubers or that don't like them can give a chance to know Hololive an their talents well.
@@beaniefamily you could just watch clips of them. The clipperes even translate JP to EN which is great. Usually, clippers videos spans are up to 50 seconds to 20 mins. It also just depends of the clippers aswell. I'd usually seek 20 mins videos because they're fun lol
I feel confident in saying that this is the best betadciu of all time, as of right now at least. Excellent character pairings, nobody sounds or looks off, there are popular characters, underrated characters, content creator cameos, and tons of creativity put into the scream notes. It just all comes together so wonderfully and I love it so much! Excellent work, Blantados!
This is now the first Blantados BETADCIU after Manifest where part of the original mod and/or character gets involved in drama and it fucking hurts, because for once it isn't a developer screwing up as it always seems to go in the FNF community. -If this BETADCIU has to be removed from the mod, I am fully prepared to pour one out for all the effort that has to be flushed down the drain.- Song was confirmed to be staying in Aloe's route a long time ago, so this will probably stay in the playable mod as well. Unfortunately, there's still a sacrifice being made with 6.0: the vast and intricate lore of 5.0. As the de-facto record keeper for it, I have some rather strong feelings about its removal but will keep it out of this post; see the replies for some cliff notes on what happened and my actual opinions.
I highly doubt this will be removed because of what happened. Sure it’s a first (I think) that an FNF developer didn’t start something bad that leads to a mod’s deletion, but I’m sure this will stay.

On a related unfortunate note, something else _is_ being deleted with 6.0: the 5.0 lore, which from what I understand was the most fleshed-out and intricate in the community before Hotline 024 challenged that position. While I understand the reasons why (Aloe's psychological profile in-universe is a dead ringer for her IRL struggles post-Hololive, and she's often used as a platform for the plot to fuck off and do non-Hololive things together with Boyfriend), I can't help but think there must've been a way to fix all that high-effort writing without just yeeting it altogether. (E: There probably still is, but it would not be a valuable investment. Also, the 5.0 lore turned out to be more problematic than I thought. See below.)
@@trocytev8783 If I’m not mistaken, 5.0 is the whole “Aloe being targeted by the dearest clan being the reason why she never left her house until Nene managed to bring her out of it and get back into singing” stuff right? Why the heck would they remove that? Furthermore, wasn’t the Fubuki version of Holofunk meant to serve as a less lore filled adventure and is just made to be enjoyable? If anything, they shouldn’t remove anything and just add more stuff to it. It’s what makes Holofunk enjoyable.
@@ps4pro668 As I mentioned above, some developer notes and comments suggest that the story plans past 5.0 and the supplementary fanfic for the mod used a _lot_ of "forbidden knowledge" to the point that it would stop making sense without them. At one point, Keaton/Kyou even tried to make Aloe's current identity a critical plot point. Which, to put it lightly, is the fastest way to get eaten alive in the community. The anxiety and possible PTSD at least had some plausible deniability that I could fight someone to the death over in good faith (and will, given the chance), but Aloe's IRL self has made it clear that she will never come back to that chapter of her life. Good luck explaining to a VTuber fan why you wrote a fanfiction that (literally or figuratively) makes her new character do that anyways... Also, your summary of 5.0 is missing some details: - The Dearest Clan killed all of Aloe's relatives (made up for the mod, of course), converted the only other survivor (her brother, also made-up) to their side, and effectively rendered her homeless. She only had a home in the lore because she was guilt-tripped into taking over the life of a similar person who had committed suicide. - Nene reunited with Aloe by chance, and there's more lore about how she's actually an ex-gang leader that befriended Aloe in high school than the whole alien and "you are husband" schlock. Which brings me to my other point: There's a lot of talents in the mod itself, but only seven actually _do_ anything in the greater scope of the 5.0 lore. Three are never referred to by name in the context of the lore, only implied, and three more take a backseat to *16* characters that are either FNF mods, things Keaton likes, or OCs. The last of the bunch is, of course, Aloe, who by this point was basically just another OC wearing her skin as she had quirky, anxiety-ridden misadventures with BF, Kiryu Kazuma, Whitty, and an OC written as her best friend. -Ultimately, I disagree with the choice to nuke it as well, as conservation of detail means you could just take an eraser to some of those future plans and background details without anyone noticing, while also rewriting some of the more awkward parts. But c'est la vie.- After looking into the story with a fine-tooth comb further, I no longer agree with this sentiment. Everything about Aloe's story from start to finish (not just the anxiety, in which case we could've pleaded the fifth if that was the only problem) is easily construed as symbolic of her real life in a rather tactless manner, and although it _might_ have been possible to save the crossovers, the anthropic principle dictates that it'd be a truly herculean task not worth valuable development time; without the Dearests, neither the vanilla FNF cast nor almost all of the *ten* non-Hololive IPs involved have any reason to get any focus. -E: Also, some people tried to accuse the mod of "milking" Aloe and dwelling on the past just because her presence meant the real talents couldn't play it. Even though the issues above exist, I will die on the hill that they are absolutely full of shit; if anything, FNF has given Aloe the character another chance at prominence, and I believe it would be sacrilege to deny that.- See above. I still think "milking" is a strong word, but only because there are better ways to describe what's wrong.

Coco and Aloe were gone way before this piece was even composed, but Rushia got fired like, a couple weeks or months after this mod iirc, which made the whole thing some sort of future-reading final farewell to her time in Hololive, and I must say, it's a banger send-off.

This was amazing, Blantados. Literally like 13 hours ago I was in a comment section talking about how you would probably do this, but I didn't think so soon! AND HELL YEAH! You got TC and Sticky in here, way to go. Overall, the covers was so good, and the scream replacements were as fitting as they were fun.
There is alot to love about it. The Ina at 1:31 design was amazing, the covers were all good. Some interesting choices for the people who did the scream. I say this is an amazing cover.
I should have probably expected Killer Scream to get some love, although seeing it from the man himself was a bit of a blindside! The instant I saw it was one by you i immediately assumed top-level quality and it did NOT disappoint, the covers sound *incredible,* the fact you made unique sounds for scream notes on every segment, so many underrrated characters... non-canon Ina mod?????? holy shit that might have been the biggest plot-twist of the video LOL, that mod *deserves* more love. I honestly was expecting Red and Black to be the first song you made a cover for out of the version 5 Holofunk update, so this is a surprise, but a welcome one! Between the different references and using characters from mods I personally feel deserve more attention, nice work all around!

He actually did play it on stream before he got exposed, though he didn't really make any sus comments that aged poorly. (In fact, all of the weird comments were from FNF fans learning of Kaichou for the first time.) Now, him being the top comment on DatDavi's Killer Scream remix, when Rushia (at least the character) is physically and mentally 16? Yeah, that's an easy "CHILDREN?!?!?!" meme that isn't just nonsensical dark humor right there.

While I understand the reasons why (Aloe's psychological profile in-universe is a dead ringer for her IRL struggles post-Hololive, and she's often used as a platform for the plot to fuck off and do non-Hololive things together with Boyfriend), I can't help but think there must've been a way to fix all that high-effort writing without just yeeting it altogether. (E: There probably still is, but it would not be a valuable investment. Also, the 5.0 lore turned out to be more problematic than I thought. See below.)
@@trocytev8783 If I’m not mistaken, 5.0 is the whole “Aloe being targeted by the dearest clan being the reason why she never left her house until Nene managed to bring her out of it and get back into singing” stuff right? Why the heck would they remove that?
Furthermore, wasn’t the Fubuki version of Holofunk meant to serve as a less lore filled adventure and is just made to be enjoyable? If anything, they shouldn’t remove anything and just add more stuff to it. It’s what makes Holofunk enjoyable.
@@ps4pro668 As I mentioned above, some developer notes and comments suggest that the story plans past 5.0 and the supplementary fanfic for the mod used a _lot_ of "forbidden knowledge" to the point that it would stop making sense without them. At one point, Keaton/Kyou even tried to make Aloe's current identity a critical plot point. Which, to put it lightly, is the fastest way to get eaten alive in the community. The anxiety and possible PTSD at least had some plausible deniability that I could fight someone to the death over in good faith (and will, given the chance), but Aloe's IRL self has made it clear that she will never come back to that chapter of her life. Good luck explaining to a VTuber fan why you wrote a fanfiction that (literally or figuratively) makes her new character do that anyways...
Also, your summary of 5.0 is missing some details:
- The Dearest Clan killed all of Aloe's relatives (made up for the mod, of course), converted the only other survivor (her brother, also made-up) to their side, and effectively rendered her homeless. She only had a home in the lore because she was guilt-tripped into taking over the life of a similar person who had committed suicide.
- Nene reunited with Aloe by chance, and there's more lore about how she's actually an ex-gang leader that befriended Aloe in high school than the whole alien and "you are husband" schlock.
Which brings me to my other point: There's a lot of talents in the mod itself, but only seven actually _do_ anything in the greater scope of the 5.0 lore. Three are never referred to by name in the context of the lore, only implied, and three more take a backseat to *16* characters that are either FNF mods, things Keaton likes, or OCs. The last of the bunch is, of course, Aloe, who by this point was basically just another OC wearing her skin as she had quirky, anxiety-ridden misadventures with BF, Kiryu Kazuma, Whitty, and an OC written as her best friend.
-Ultimately, I disagree with the choice to nuke it as well, as conservation of detail means you could just take an eraser to some of those future plans and background details without anyone noticing, while also rewriting some of the more awkward parts. But c'est la vie.- After looking into the story with a fine-tooth comb further, I no longer agree with this sentiment. Everything about Aloe's story from start to finish (not just the anxiety, in which case we could've pleaded the fifth if that was the only problem) is easily construed as symbolic of her real life in a rather tactless manner, and although it _might_ have been possible to save the crossovers, the anthropic principle dictates that it'd be a truly herculean task not worth valuable development time; without the Dearests, neither the vanilla FNF cast nor almost all of the *ten* non-Hololive IPs involved have any reason to get any focus.
-E: Also, some people tried to accuse the mod of "milking" Aloe and dwelling on the past just because her presence meant the real talents couldn't play it. Even though the issues above exist, I will die on the hill that they are absolutely full of shit; if anything, FNF has given Aloe the character another chance at prominence, and I believe it would be sacrilege to deny that.- See above. I still think "milking" is a strong word, but only because there are better ways to describe what's wrong.

I can actually imagine them being friends talking about how crappy Daddy Dearest is and how he ruined their lives. Also, Nene being an Ex-gang leader sounds badass, considering her whole nature in both Holofunk and Hololive.

Coco and Aloe were gone way before this piece was even composed, but Rushia got fired like, a couple weeks or months after this mod iirc, which made the whole thing some sort of future-reading final farewell to her time in Hololive, and I must say, it's a banger send-off.

There is alot to love about it. The Ina at 1:31 design was amazing, the covers were all good. Some interesting choices for the people who did the scream. I say this is an amazing cover.
I should have probably expected Killer Scream to get some love, although seeing it from the man himself was a bit of a blindside! The instant I saw it was one by you i immediately assumed top-level quality and it did NOT disappoint, the covers sound *incredible,* the fact you made unique sounds for scream notes on every segment, so many underrrated characters... non-canon Ina mod?????? holy shit that might have been the biggest plot-twist of the video LOL, that mod *deserves* more love.
