- Hii! Today is a Dollar Tree DIY /Dollar Store Makeover / DIY Ideas video... There are really a lot of categories that this video can fall under, but ultimately the basic idea in these types of videos is to go to the Dollar Tree and make something out of the items there. In the past, I've done quite a few videos involving the Dollar Tree. When I first started posting art videos on UA-cam 2 years ago, I was really into Dollar Tree DIYs. The home decor / crafting community on UA-cam has years worth of SOOO many amazing videos on Dollar Tree DIYs and of course @MoriahElizabeth has coined the term "Dollar Store Makeover" for these types of videos.

Hi, my name is Marissa (AKA Bellamena)! Making videos about art is my favorite thing to do. I'm not a professional artist or anything (I'm actually a Computer Scientist 🤓) , but I have a lot of fun trying to make stuff look cute. I recently had the opportunity to write a book called Draw Your Journal that is available on Amazon. I get so excited every time I upload a new video to UA-cam, and I'm so grateful that I get to make videos and share them with them you.

First of all these are all amazing. That gingerbread dollhouse is too cute. I love that you can snap them all together or create a whole gingerbread village. It might be cool to paint the furniture holiday themed too and glue it to the backside of the house so you can see them inside. You've got me itching to check out my local dollar store now for some ideas. LOL Thanks for another fun video! I hope you're doing well today. 🙂

I'm actually not wearing Moriah's nail polish..... yet 😎 haahaha. It's funny because I just got these pastel colors a few months ago in this gel nail polish kit (it comes with a UV light), but now I also want to get Moriah's cause they're so pretty!!

I loved watching this.. your gingerbread doll house brought back memories of me and my mum making lolly houses and i just wanted to share these memories with you..
My mum would creat a house out of thick paper almost like the same as playing cards i guess 😅 I don't know!
Anyways she would stick the pieces together with white icing and then we would stick all sorts of lollies and chocolate onto the house including little santa chocolates that are wrapped up in a foiled wrapping which had a santa outfit and face on it we kept them wrapped up for the fancy santa effects and when it was done we would leave it till Christmas day and then enjoy destroying the lolly house bit by bit by eating it.
We would generally make this like 1 day before Christmas...
Some other sweets included kitkats and m&ms and jellybeans.
Anyways Thankyou for the memories and Thankyou for these great ideas I'm going to do these ideas for next Christmas.

Im not sure how common this is but I use my notifications to find the videos I want to watch like 99% of the time. I sub to people and turn on notifications and that way I know when they've put out a new video. And I love finding new people to follow on UA-cam. But somehow when I went to check out Visual Mind's channel just now. I was already subbed but didn't have the notifications on. So I have only ever seen one of her videos. But I just turned them on now.

Here’s a tip to take of sticker’s easily: Run the sticker under hot water and it will come off easier.
Thanks! Actually rubbing alcohol breaks down the sticker really well and wipes it clean too :)

You could draw your biggest fear or worry, your favorite villan in a super hero movie, something you did wrong, or even just something that you think looks nice in the dark (maybe glow in the dark paint or Christmas lights in December).
