I remember as a kid the pizza hut balloons would look really weird when all the air out, a bit like when you used the pen on the balloon to show the stress. :)
for the most part they are still young , under five years old, and they just like watching them with their dad, but they are a lot like me and just like all of it.. they want to know more and we do what we can here at home. so its from me for them, just keep doing what you do.. and we hope to see more fun and exciting things to try.
You are the best Steve Spangler. You are my idol. You also inspire me to do so many science things, and my mom keeps asking me what the stuff is for and I tell her, "It's for science!"
yay more steve.. love this stuff and plan on showing it to my kids when they are old enough. simple content to learn,b ut lessons that rival a few college course.
or however, just put some olive oil on the neddle and ta-daaa: if you try to make a sugery to a ballon this will let you stick the neddle in which side you want :3
u can also use tape like ducttape or even scotch tape and place it on the ballon and prick the area covered y the tape with maybe a sewing needle or small needle but u cud use a skewer
What about surrounding the balloon in tape? When I was younger, I put tape around the balloon and used a needle to try to pop it, and it wouldn't pop. You should make an episode part II about that ;)
Thanks for letting us know, we are working on getting that fixed.
Thank you!
That is awesome. Are there any lessons you would like to see? Anything your kids would really like to see us do?
A glow in the dark episode...I like that. Thanks for the suggestion.

We added the Skip Intro so people have seen the show can skip it, but people who have never seen it know what it is about!
Epic Win!
Note:
To get the skewer sharper faster (if you're impatient like me) you can use a pencil sharpener.
Just a note for future uses :)

What about surrounding the balloon in tape? When I was younger, I put tape around the balloon and used a needle to try to pop it, and it wouldn't pop. You should make an episode part II about that ;)

What if you put the skewer before you pumped the balloon, then pump up the ballon does it still have to be on the bottom/top?
