i always loved kemps swagger activities after the dunks.....they were so entertaining. all in good fun. not a mean streak in kemp. kemp is just a big kid. he rarely got angry.
Old white referee with weird guesses about the meaning of the body language of younger black men. Additionally, he's a referee who probably never played the game, so has no idea about what's taunting and what's just celebrating. Or maybe just he thought Shawn was taunting him, the referee?...lol...smh.
0:33 in-transition left-hand-switch sky-soar-jam on Alonzo Mourning, one of the baddest shot rejectors of the day. Underrated dunk, and one of my faves from this.
I feel like 94-95 home games in the Tacoma dome are some of the hardest games to find from Kemp’s career, would you agree? The Sonics rarely ever showed a home game on TV when playing in Tacoma. I’ve still never seen any substantial footage anywhere from when the Sonics played Orlando/Shaq in the Dome. I’m sure Orlando had to televise it
1994 and 1995 should have been Sonic title years. Lost 3 straight to DEN and LA after opening the series' with victories. Up 2-0 on DEN, 1-0 on LA with like a 20point victory. Seattle would hit the snooze and their biggest whipping boy Houston Rockets took advantage of absent Seattle teams
Ken Callalbro was mad ill with the commentating. I lived in Seattle and he and Marques Johnson were a great duo. I loved watching Kemp dunk on everybody.
1:02 This was used for Kemp's 95-96 Nba Hoops basketball card. Strangely one of my favorite Kemp cards that doesn't show him dunking on someone, or blocking someone's shot.
It's great to see the Kemp clips taken from that game finally, nicely done. This game has it all, Schrempf ejected and Karl saying the ref should be shot lol. Pretty sure Alonzo was returning from an injury but hey you take the court, declare yourself fit and cop your medicine.
@Brugality in Australia you didn't get many games aired other than playoffs, you needed a mate with a big satellite dish and the kids would flock. But in my mid 20s I found sites and replays and went back and watched a few seasons. Can't remember everyday stuff but 90s NBA hell yes.
That referee instead of risking to be shot by George Karl, had to give one bonus point to Sonics due of the magnificence of that Payton-Kemp "magic carpet" action in Mourning face! I miss the '90 Sonics!
Seattle had better defense than Phoenix Better offense than Utah More speed than San Antonio Better shooting than Houston... And lost to Denver and Los Angeles
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. 1993-94 was great in that, the Sonics and Blazers went 4-0 against the Hornets. 1994-95 was AWFUL, as the Sonics and Blazers went 0-4 against the Hornets, and a combined 1-9 against the Suns. I HATE the Lakers, Boston, Phoenix, and Utah!
Kemp is my favourite player when i was young. His dunk is so powerful and beautiful, no one can compare with him.
Kemp is insanely dominate easily my favorite player from the 90'$
i always loved kemps swagger activities after the dunks.....they were so entertaining. all in good fun. not a mean streak in kemp. kemp is just a big kid. he rarely got angry.
Made it so entertaining!!!

My favorite player of all-time... S. Kemp!!!
@2:30
Lob city and floss dance. Kemp had some of the best shake swag after dunks all time
Ooh, I like that, "floss dance"...
Reignman just so beautiful to watch
@2:45 Evidence Kemp is from the future, he received a technical for doing the floss dance 23 years too early.
Haha just seen it and understood whatchu mean
He was always from the future.
Lol
THIS IS A REAL SONICS CHANNEL... Keep this videos coming my man! Congrats. Shawn has a TON OF FANS here in Brazil!
That left hand jam on Zo was FILTHY!!!
that was filthy. but that last dunk was filthier!
agreed
It was so awesome seeing shawn kemp yaking all over mourning. That's was my first game I ever been too, and as kid it was nuts to see that live.

Get on that magic carpet Reignman!!!
Kevin Calabro was an icon as well. Pack it down, baby!
@@kentclark6420 He still brings that same intensity when he calls Blazers games today.
Other than Hakeem Olajuwon, Shawn Kemp was one of the most purely talented and versatile big men of all time.
Thanks for the upload. Alonzo was probably having nightmares after some of those playes
A King without crown. Shawn Kemp!
this is a gem! many thanks for the upload
Shawn Kemp is THE GREATEST POWER FORWARD WHOM HAS EVER LIVED!!!!
I missed the sonics at the Tacoma dome
Future Hall Of Famer
Never stop posting

had they won those titles, the '96 Finals vs the Bulls may have been a different story
like a master chef, shawn given it to zo every different way, transition, in the post, facing up, rebounds, off the pick and roll...
LEGENDARY STYLE
Ken Callalbro was mad ill with the commentating. I lived in Seattle and he and Marques Johnson were a great duo. I loved watching Kemp dunk on everybody.
I was at this game .
Arguably the greatest power forward hands down!!!!
Malone, Coleman, McHale,
@@fashizzle78 😂 Coleman? 😂

2:00 - 2:03
Kemp coming from an inbounnd pass to a double handed dunk in traffic under 3 seconds
1:59 The mullet to end all mullets.
was that randy johnson?
It's great to see the Kemp clips taken from that game finally, nicely done. This game has it all, Schrempf ejected and Karl saying the ref should be shot lol.

@Brugality pretty big on the media that game thanks to Karl lol.
@Brugality in Australia you didn't get many games aired other than playoffs, you needed a mate with a big satellite dish and the kids would flock.

Can't remember everyday stuff but 90s NBA hell yes.
I saw a strangely lazy Zo on defense.
We had such great teams back then and just couldn't get to the end. Back when it was fun to watch. Payton was amazing
He dunked that thing so hard on that alley from Payton. Kemp was my favorite big BY FAR, had these shoes, too, loved them KAMIKAZE's!
The dunk at :31 may have been the only time I ever saw Kemp dunk left-handed. Nonetheless, it was over Zo.
There's a few around on you tube amongst all his clips. Couple nasty lefty's on Milwaukee are my favs and there's a few v Detroit 👍
That baseline spin and dunk very very deadly as is everything the The ReignMan does, peace
when DUNKING is a freethrow
Damn, it seems like everyone was dunking on Zo back in the day. 😂
Shawn wreaking havoc
Kemp did his best to end Zo's career in this game
he was a beast when it comes to dunking too bad sonics made a wrong decision trading him, the reignman is one of the best in nba
The first dunk on Zo is one of Kemps best imho and it doesn't show up in a lot of his top dunk vids.
I was at this game .. this game made me fall in love with Alonzo.. wanted him to be a sonic more than anything
@ 2:36....Sick. Just absolutely filthy sick.
*Kemp is my 2nd favorite player I history but Alonzo is my sport childhood hero.*
Get up on that magic karpet, baby!
Kemp is 🔥🔥😎
Sonics and kemp always gave me nightmares when playing against Don Nelson's warriors.
He was a man.... but he was a child, he was a man-child.
And he came and he grew and he fed on the rain.... ohh sweet rain.
'I like this place' :)
Those mobbed-up refs in the 90’s and their bullshit calls.
MY BOY KEMP GETTING OFF!!!
Man mourning got schooled bad... Kemp had the physical tools to be one of the all-time greats... some NBA players need career counselors or something.
Schooled? Zo dropped 34, and the Hornets dealt the Sonics one of their very few home losses.
The ref is a chump calling a taughtin after that amazing alley oop
Kevin Callabro, best team commentator ever.
That referee instead of risking to be shot by George Karl, had to give one bonus point to Sonics due of the magnificence of that Payton-Kemp "magic carpet" action in Mourning face! I miss the '90 Sonics!
Hard to believe they still lost.
Shawn Bomb
5 techs against Seattle that night! Karl said that the official should have been shot after the game.
The Hornets won by 2 so those techs definitely determined the outcome of the game.
Seattle had better defense than Phoenix
Better offense than Utah
More speed than San Antonio
Better shooting than Houston...
And lost to Denver and Los Angeles
The only two teams that were terrible match up for the Sonics and they just had to get them 2 consecutive years.
Talk about bad luck brian
Kemp was like a big Jordan,
Jordan only dunks one handed unless in a dunk contest. Kemp went chest to chest with people and threw down on them 2 handed.
We want a video of Shawn plays against the magic or Lakers we would love to see Shawn vs Shaq!!! Please man!!!

Tacoma Supersonics!
Sick! 2:31
A Tech??? what tech, ref????
Who knew this 2 will play for oklahoma
@0:29
Kemp left on Mourning
Sonics coaching staff: George Karl and three future NBA head coaches as assistants. A good team from top to bottom.
Tacoma domeeee
Anyone got a link to the whole game?
Why the sonics play at the Tacoma dome instead of Seattle?
They were changing The Coliseum into Key Arena in the 1995 season
In the wood shed
Why the lakers traded perkins I'll never know.. And then not hold on to Christie
🏝 som ven-set raasclot a rive
That was a horrible reason for a Tech
Don’t I love it when refs make the game about them?
That don’t make no sense, Ted Bernhardt T’d up Kemp for taunting which there was none- bad call
Why technical foul? For what? Just emotions after slam dunk, just part of the show for game spectators. So wierd....
Basically the 1996 Sonics with better jerseys
Alecsander Hamilton I hate the 96 jersey
