i am in france and i did not understand this concept at all but after watching your video about the incoterms, everything is as clear as water. thank you smmmm
We are glad we could help. Thank you so much for your support and kind words. If you would like to understand this concept better with examples please read our article on Incoterms on our website www.eximpedia.com. 🙏
Thank you so much 🙏 Cost - It is the Money/compensation that is being involved during logistics process. Example: Till where are you supposed to bear the actual logistics cost in the process. Till port/till on board etc. Risk - Risk in this case is in the terms of responsibility of the shipment and bearing the losses. Example: Till the goods reach destination it is your risk. Even though I am paying the actual cost till the delivery place. If ship sinks, the risk of goods was yours, so for the sunk goods you will pay for losses as it was your risk. Means even though I'm paying cost till destination I will not pay for loss as it was your risk/responsibility.
The seller bears the cost till the carrier reaches the destination port in case of CPT & CIP as the name suggests "Carriage paid to". Bearing the cost for Unloading the goods at the destination port comes in incoterm - DPU. Please read our article on - eximpedia.com/incoterms2020-latest-2021-guide/ We have mentioned each and every point with examples. The answer to your question is also there in our article. Thank you😄🙏❤️
