ANALYSIS | Justice Tanko, Chief Justice Of Nigeria Resigns

Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, has resigned.
According to the CJN’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Ahuraka Yusuf Isah, Justice Muhammad resigned due to ill health.
The Supreme Court has yet to make an official statement on this latest development.
There have been controversies rocking the Apex court of the country recently, with the next most senior justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, leading 13 other Supreme Court justices to condemn alleged unfair conditions and poor budgetary allocations of work under Justice Mohammed’s leadership
