- The XHDATA D-901 AM FM BT MP3 Shortwave Portable Radio is an Excellent Deal at Twenty USD! A joy to Tune around the Shortwave Broadcast Bands. You will get awesome reception on all the bands, a rechargeable 18650 battery, flashlight, good speaker audio, bluetooth/mp3 player, and the ability to run it all with D Cell Batteries. In this video I perform a Daytime Shortwave Band Scan to see what I can find. The radio is hooked up to an external Kaito T-1 wire which is strung outside to my balcony. At the end I skip through the FM band as well :)

used to listen to Radio Australia , BBC, Radio Canada, Radio Netherlands, Radio South Africa, Radio China and Cuba and many others back in the day (80-90's)
What i really love about this current wave of new radios from China is they all basically share the same hardware (more or less) but coming in different cases, different flavors and for different purposes :) That would explain why they can sell them at such low prices. Really makes you feel like a child in a candy store with that sheer amount of variation. I really love that combined 3,5mm jack for Aux AND antenna. It's the first time i see it being done like that.

Brother Scare lives on via the SW bands! Sounds like a DSP radio in analog style.
On shortwave radio Sunday afternoons around 5pm eastern you get a old scratchy sounding voice that plays music from the 1910s 1920s and so on world war 1 and 2 era songs called Marion's Attic on 7.490mhz. WARNING! That radio show is not for the depressing and the timid audiences. Lol

Hey Todderbert? Since the crowning of prince Charles is this Saturday or late Friday night, will it be broadcast on shortwave radio or regular radio? If it's on shortwave, what frequency and time? Just wanted to catch it all on the CC Skywave SSB. Thanks 👍
The BBC will most likely have continuous Coverage, and they should have their SW broadcast schedules up.

How is the sound quality compared to prunus j-01?
Two different radios, I would say this one has a richer, more full sound.
