This man's talent is huge - I just saw Local Hero in Scotland - he wrote the entire score - music and lyrics - and how much wit and humor he has - no trace of a rock - celtic in it - it was simply fabulous................he's complete.
Mark's voice is gravelly and world weary, his guitar playing understated, a classic song delivered with class and magic. Only a master could deliver such a performance. Bravo.

The Boxer is one of my all-time favorite tunes and to hear another of my all-time favorite guitarists cover it is just .....Heaven of Earth!!

Upon exiting, I asked some of the young masters what they thought about their father's taste in music and to a soul I was faced with incredulous wonder and amazement. There is hope.

Mark has been a "musician's musician" for most of my life- and a wonderful way to spend an evening sailing on the clouds his fingers put to life. Play on!

I wouldn't call it a cover but an artistic interpretation. Two of the world's best singer songwriters couldn't cover eachother. I think It's an "Imitation is the highest form of flattery " thing. There is a great deal of respect for eachother.

mark is such an underrated vocal performer, there's no vocal acrobatics but he knows how to fill each syllable with meaning.
Actually the beauty of the song is in the music composition and lyrics. MK delivers the gravitas commensurate with the sentiment.
