The flight attendant (Sima) from 00:15 to 00:25 looked after me on my LHR-SFO flight in January 2023. She helped make it one of the best flights I've ever been on. I can see that she has now been edited out of a newer version of the safety briefing video. I hope that she is well and still with BA.
Brilliant with subtle British humour. Love the bit where the lady says "take nothing with you" and then grabs some chips. Oh, and the ending where sheep are crossing the country lane...genius.
@@thatvierkid I couldn't say whether sheep are a big thing in London or not as I'm not from there. Not sure what that has to do with sheep crossing a country lane in what is clearly not London.
I flew home from Heathrow to Philadelphia on British Airways back in April 2024 and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of this safety video. Great job, British Airways.
British Airways sounds like a really nice airline to fly with. I have not flew with them since I was 16 back in the Summer of 2004, from Baltimore to London. I think I hear London 🇬🇧 calling my name to come back for a visit. The vast majority of British people I have come across while in London a while back, were very friendly and welcoming.
@@r-labs9357 Ah yes, “funny”. And no, they shouldn’t. Because that’s the last thing people want to think about before setting foot on a flight. It’s just silly. It’s a safety video. It’s for safety. Imagine what that would do to an airline as well. No one would fly them…
Don't visit anytime except for the summer, or you'll be greeted with non stop rain and hypothermia. Also, STAY AWAY FROM LONDON! One of the most OVERRATED cities of all time. There's rain EVERY WHERE. Police are absolutely rubbish and are no help, citizens are mostly rude which just a handful who are welcoming.. Final thing, never use a public bathroom. Ever.
I agree... a safety video should be succinct, to the point and clear. The aim is to pass on safety critical information not entertain people. Saying that, most people don't pay attention anyway...
I think I slightly prefer this one to the 2024 version! I love Jane Austen/Edwardian/Downton Abbey as much as anyone, but this one actually feels properly British. At least, I certainly don't feel like Jane Eyre stuck in economy on an 11 hr flight haha...xD
I've flown with British Airways once again 2 months ago after 3 years of hell during the Covid Pandemic from London Heathrow to New York John F Kennedy and back and the new safety video was great to watch. Seeing Robert Peston, Emma Radacanu, Tom Kerridge and Sir Lenny Henry was a joy to watch in the video.
Watched this for the first time on the way to NYC, absolutely brilliant safety video, great humour, very creative. By far the best I've every seen and by far my favourite Airline, well done British Airways
oh Dear a British Original !! as a cabin crew member I am really proud of the innovation that security videos have nowadays. Congratulations British Airways.. ✈
I may be flighing British Airlines this August with my mom and I can't wait for the trip we'll the only thing i don't like about the trip is being at the airports by 3 am est
Does anyone recall an ad with a little girl whose father kept calling from world capitals ? the next scene is him with her boarding the aircraft and she is telling the flight attendant that she is off to London for a business meeting....
Yay 💃🏽 💃🏽. BA, our favourite airline ❤. To all the beautiful BA crews my family and I have met, well done to all of you. Love you from head to toes ❤🥰.
Ye mate I’ve flown BA about 100 times and sometimes their safety video doesn’t work. Hopefully they should fix it on some planes they just can’t really be bothered to install it or play the video. Either that or it doesn’t work 😂💀👍🥳
This is what I call a fun modern video getting all the vital safety info across and having your pax full attention. It's awesome because BA is an international airline and as such truly diverse just like the actors in this video awesome amazing and I have 20 international flying experience as an airline Captain in the US
If we’re being honest the original animated safety video was the best, it was iconic and truly BA style. The airline is trying too hard to be so called “modern”
But why wasn’t this filmed in the new uniform? I get it, Boateng was in the film but the staff should be in the uniform if this video is to serve for a few years right? On the other hand I don’t like the new uniform so I’m glad it’s in the old one

They made both safety videos at the same time, just different crew for the new uniforms.
It’s ‘safe’ to say we know a thing or two about ‘original’ Safety Videos… 😉 Job well done 💜
Thanks for showing the way, but there's a new trendsetter in town now 😉

i genuinely dont get whats so genius about these 2 clips? and im from the uk
The synthesis of Doctor Who and aviation is a powerful combination and a dream come true. If anyone can advise, it is the Doctor.
Agreed 😎😎
I loved this safety video on all my flights with BA, i watched them all from start to end every time they came on 👏🏽 well done BA! ❤️🇬🇧✈️

Fully agree with you,British is one of the safest Airlines you can fly with.
Aww...this is lovely. Makes me wish I could travel just to experience this.
2:59 and who dosent love attention is the best bit 😂😂
Amazing BA! By far the best safety video I've seen on a european carrier! Well done
That saxophone player at 4:50 and near the start is Binker Golding. He teaches us at a Jazz center!
One of their better safety videos. Love the Scottish narrator. Very calm, clear and concise.
If the plane begins plummeting into the ocean, remember: always stay true to yourself and believe in your dreams ✨
Bruh that could actually be a good line in this commercial

Good job BA. Much better than previous safety vids, and it doesn't feel an ounce stiff or corporate
That will definitely get the attention of even those who fly frequently. WELL DONE !!!
Good to see the signature Flower Duet makes it into this new video, even if it's very brief! (It's at 0:22 for those wondering).
I just saw this last week and really enjoyed it! Loved the authenticity and got me excited about my entire trip. ❤

Most of the fellow passengers were glued to this the other day, and I'm here watching it again when I'm back in my own bed!
THE DOCTOR!!
I Have Autism, Watching These Videos Helps Me Recall What Happens When Im About To Travel!
Animated one is still the best. Straight to the point, no waffle or gimmicks, clear and easy to understand and solely focused on the aircraft
What’s wrong with bringing it to life and attracting people’s attention? For me this couldn’t be clearer or easier to understand

Watching it I wasn't sure if I was watching a South African Airways video with dubbed English accents.
Omg I was thinking the same thing! So it's not just me then

Very well paced, being funny but also very precise, where #Airfrance safety is being diluted.
I love it. But it's super long though. And would be nice if I knew who the celebs are. I recognized only one.
