Beautiful show. Beautiful background music. Beautiful RoBin couple. Can't fake this natural relationship, friendship or otherwise. Emmy Award was very well deserved. We don't watch a lot of SKorean shows but this one transcends them all. Scipt made in heaven. Male and Female leads made in heaven. Music made in heaven. We really believed that we were really watching REAL people named Lee Hwi/Dami and Jung Ji Un. We have been blessed to have watched and continue to watch The King's Affection on a loop.

My first K drama and now my favorite. The entire cast did a wonderful job with their characters. The costuming was beautiful and the soundtrack is great.

This is the historical drama I find exciting bc every episode has really great plot. But also relaxing and not too stressful than other historical kdrama. You get a little bit or more of the swoon worthy scenes. Its just a relaxing kdrama but not boring. I love it!

I watched the TKA again last night and I'm still emotional. The acting is superb.I just wonder,how can you not love each other in real life with the "catharsis" of emotions they showed.Even for myself,I fell in love for both of them,how much more for PEB and Rowoon. I understand it is scripted and just acting .But OMG,you're a " heartless human being" if you did not fall in love with each other in real life..
I cannot move on from this kdrama. There was a lot I've watched before but this one gave me so much feels that I cannot let go. Everything was perfect and especially the OST. Couldn't find any drama that has the same feels so far. PEB and Rowoon conveyed the character's emotions so well that it seems we are peeking through their relationship.
Still my favorite! Love them both … so heartfelt, deeply emotional drama with just enough comic relief!! They deserve all the praise and accolades received! Soundtrack is added bonus…beautiful!

My all time favorite Kdrama. I have watched this a few times and could watch it many more and most likely will. I play the soundtrack from it in my car often - it’s beautiful. Such a wonderful love story and the actors are superb! You don’t see love stories like this in American TV any more.
