I’ve listened to to this interview before, it brought up such memories, driving my daughter around in her young teens years we were doing a dry run to an airport in Rhode Island, she saw a bill board for a radio station, put it on, Linkun Park, SHUT UP, “shut that off, can’t drive in a city with that! She remembered it though, put it on as we went back& forth to school, friends, dances. So I kept the station on and started to love it, i didn’t let on about that, I was doot doting, a guitar riff, “are you listening to my music?, yes I love it its now mine too!” I listened to the same music Alex is talking about, GreenDay Blink 182, I also loved the hard music with screams and roars. I was alive when The Beatles, came to the US. I am a die hard ATL fan and was listening to them on the radio 6 feet under the stars was the first song I heard, hooked on it from first notes. My daughter was born the same year 1987, 12-18-87! On 6-18 we celebrate her 1/2 birthday Jacks dob! That flips my socks. I have not been able to see them, once for 5 songs. I love the new record, the more I listen the more I love it.
PLEASE get Alex on the pod again!!! This was my first introduction to this pod and I plan to listen to more but I NEEED more about ATL’s albums “Don’t Panic!”, “Future Hearts”, and “Wake Up, Sunshine”!!! I don’t care how much you have texted about it I want to hear from Alex (and Jack, Zach, and Rian). “Don’t Panic” was my initial introduction to them/first time I saw them on a tour and it was magical. I saw them during Future Hearts tour as well and just such magic. Wake Up, Sunshine is my favorite aside from Don’t Panic! And Future Hearts. Front to back. I have loved ATL for a decade now and have seen them 5 times. I love them so much, I didn’t realize this interview was over an hour, please get Alex on again!
I find Alex so charismatic, he draws you in. I love this band I am joyful when I hear it I’m 69 and agree with the host, we had to hope we’d see a band on TV, the album to show us what they look like. UA-cam flipped my socks for all the info on on favorites. I’m going to see them! I can’t wait, my daughter is going with me, my intro to ATL Six Feet Under The Stars, though she’s moved on to K POP.
I'm from the Netherlands so forgive me when I say that I have no idea who you are Stryker, but this was an AMAZING interview and podcast. Absolutely stellar questions and insights (from what I gather is your background in radio). I'll be listening to a whole bunch more.
This year marks 16 years of ATL being my favorite band (since my senior year of high school). It was so cool to hear Alex’s perspective on the early years of the band. I would’ve watched a whole hour or two more to hear him talk about the more recent years as well! What a great interview 🤩
This kinda takes me back when I first heard All Time Low. I remember that I was desperately searching for new music and the pop-punk scene wasn't big in Germany, and then I saw the music video to Coffee Shop Soundtrack and I was just like: "What is THIS?!" and listened to it all day long to a point where my friends got annoyed by it.
Great guest! I had the pleasure of meeting Alex once randomly at a show. Really nice dude! Also would love to see you get Matt Bellamy of Muse as a guest!
This is making me so sad, I saw ATL and didn’t. They were coming to Boston, got tickets, one opening band, then they added 2 more, OH No! We took public transportation, Boston very hard to drive, we were OK time-wise before the added 2. We had to leave! We got to see 4-5 songs, had to get up and go as Alex yelled out “hey you MF’s” This was 10 days ago and I’m not over it yet! I’m sitting here all teary watching this 🥲 I love this band, I’ve seen lots, I’m at the top of the Multigenerational Fan Base, I was 10 when The Beatles came out in the the US. What little of the show was amazing, we had to leave 😱
Kinda sad you didn't acknowledge Last Young Renegade. I mean I know you were running out of time but I couldn't help but notice you went from Future Hearts to briefly mentioning Wake Up Sunshine. Aside from that, great interview! Loved hearing Alex talk about his beginnings and past work!
@@TunaonToastwithStryker OK. What do you say to 30 loaves of wholemeal bread and 30 Tuna steaks for £500? I think that's very reasonable. I'll even fly them over from the UK and bring them with me once you get me on the show! 🍞🐟✈️🌍❤️

I don't fan girl really at all anymore in my adulthood. But everytime I see this man I still fangirl a lil 💀
Right. I’m pretty sure they are the only band I will always fangirl over. Especially over Jack.
@@nattievoices it's Alex for me 💀🙈
I’m a guy and I have been fangirling since 2009 😂
I’m to old to be an overt Fan Girl but Alex is so charismatic and Rian’s smile is killer! I’ve been a fan since 6 feet under the stars
Great interview ❤
Never knew alex was an ambitious career driven overachiever. Newfound respect
It was really interesting hearing Alex talk about all this stuff. This was my first time finding this podcast also and I love it.
thank you!

Hi stryker!
Next guest must be Mark Hoppus. lots of stories to be discussed with him! :)
Please continue the history of All Time Low with Alex!

My favourite interview with Alex, ever! Thank you so very much.
Watching this again the day after Alex’s birthday and post 6 weeks since I met him in Australia, it’s still my favourite interview, ever! X
It’s really crazy how young these dudes were when they got huge
1:00:40 where they talk about Mark Hoppus
This is such a wholesome interview. I love hearing about their background. Great interview!

I look up to him a lot. Ever since I was younger.
I hope to meet or collab with him someday in the future. Even if it's minor.
Always looking forward not only for the Simple Creatures comeback, but also to their growth in general! love you boys!

Awesome! Cool interview. Definitely can relate with the whole growing up with music thing. Hope they come to latin America.
Yooooo it's the voice of one of my favorite games of all time!
I see that autographed Vikings helmet, you from Minnesnowta?
I listen to Booker and Stryker every single day on Alt 98.7 in LA. Love them, but I've been a huge fan of Alex since 2008
THANK YOU!
