You taught me to not blindly fear wasps. I've picked up 2 wild wasps and fed some by putting honey right next to the nest, while the wasps were there. I respected them, they respected me. Just remember (anyone reading this), wasps can do, what wasps do and Josh has shown what they can do.
@@silverfox9004 I pet one of their wings a few days ago, while it was on their nest. There is 1 wasp on the nest that is like their guard dog, that prefers it if i stay away. It will turn its back end slightly to the side and slightly forward when I am about 1 inch away, but that's all. Another wasp seems to always be hungry. It is very possible the wasps take turns eating and guarding. I haven't taken the time to tell them apart. I do not suggest anyone do this, and I have spent months letting them get used to me, doing non-threatening actions, getting closer and closer to their nest and i have accidentally touched their nest before.
@@FusionDeveloper I've had similar experiences, getting close to them like that. once, some younger wasps were being more hostile towards me but an older one kind of held it back. once you get close to them, you can see their intelligence. I truly love them, despite being stung many times in my life. i feel that each sting was my fault xD, getting too close or being too curious, or accidentally stepping on one barefoot in the grass.
Facts, I still have deathly fear of them, legitimately nothing else makes me panic that much. I wish I had more confidence but idk if it's my pheromones or what but as soon as I walk outside they attack me. Every time
As an anthologist myself this is quiet common, I have a 1K-1.5K wasp colony in my house and I have not been stung once. What I would suggest is to whisper “I am a friend and not an enemy, I am only interested in helping not harming. Calmly and slowly, also do not only get one at a time, due to them hating to be alone if you take 1 at a time then the ones being taken away will release a scent that tells the others “DANGER”
Omg I am a fan! I love it! You had me rolling with your mom and calling the wasps 🤣 this Def brought back memories from my childhood when I used to catch snakes and turtles and stuff with my little brother. My first video I watch was of the snapping turtle and then I instantly subscribed love the work keep it up!
Hayyy!!! Fellow wasps friend! So I was greeted by a wasp a few days ago in my kitchen. I kinda just let it be but when I found it had fallen in the sink that was filled with water, I saved it. I've done some research & I think it's a queen. I've been taking care of it but have no clue what I'm doing. I tired to release her but shes not flying so I'm making a habitat. Ty!!
Wasps, yellow jackets and hornets live all over North America in meadows, orchards, woodlands, playgrounds, cemeteries, and urban and suburban settings. All wasps build nests, although they vary in their nesting preferences. A wasp habitat is a paper-like nest made from wood fibers that have been chewed into a pulp.
For future reference I suggest keeping them in a small area until they have at least 20 workers I have a very large colonies that I have raised 2 years and I raised them in a customized small container until they had 20 workers and so far they've thrived.
Not really how it works, bees will avoid attacking you because they die if they do, they'll only sting to protect their nest or if they've been captured and have no way of surviving anyways

That is bag idea for a wasp tank because when you feed them you need to open the giant side of the cage it going to be chaos when the wasp all fly out I think
when those flies aren't actually flies (they're alates, ant species, the relatives of the wasps and bees, he could've kept a colony and he found one without even trying T^T)
the suction idea is pretty good, you should put, mesh or wire on the straw you suck on so you don’t get bugs in your mouth, and put tape around both straws where the whole is so there is more pressure. i dunno just an idea

Plot twist he hated wasps all along and he’s trying to remove them from the earth but pretending that he failed every time he kept them
The "did you think I gave up" had some strong villain ark vibes.
