I went to jury duty recently in Long Beach, CA. When the judge would ask the lawyers to approach the bench, she would turn on this white noise sound that played through the court room. It wasn't very loud, but once it was turned on, you wouldn't be able to heard anyone else speaking unless they spoke directly next to your ear. It was such a weird feeling. Makes me wonder if that noise was cancelling out the range of human voices.
@@vt.physics you remind me of Carl Sagan from Cosmos TV show actually. His enthusiasm and smiles when explaining science subject is legendary. It's an old TV show, but it's very good and educational.
I love your videos so much!! I think you’d do sooo well with a 10min video format cuz I can watch delostrations of these for AGES!! Keep it up ok!! We need more educational youtubers like u!
Interesting. For any of the waves to cancel you have to have the ability to hear. My watch is unique when I really want to hear it tick sometimes the noise cancels however; When i'm not paying attention I hear my watch.
Sounds like when you try talking in a crowded room, you can't be heard unless the crowd volume goes down. You turn on ANC, and the device starts a digital whisper enough to drown the crowd noise.
you are actually the coolest person on you tube
Agree 100% 🫡

Hey, I have always wanted to know how this works.Thank you!
That would be enough for me🙂🙂🙂🙏
couldn’t bee.
Make more sense ❤
I love you
That's not how the noise cancellation is done. Rather noise is cancelled by digital signal processing in the chip.
This is exactly how active noise cancellation - the topic of the video - functions in reality.
