nah, only two reasons its a problem.
If your main character syndrome ass wants to go do solo missions. And you are not actually playing the game as it is meant to be played. WITH FACTIONS. As in coordinations.
Secondly, its because Hutch is a fucking manchild and still does not understand how fucking pissed he would get if he just would put himself in that dudes shoes. But "its funny." It's really not. Because guess what happens. THIS. WHERE IT RUINS THE FUCKING MISSION AND SOURS THE GAME EXPERIENCE FOR HIS FRIENDS.

Yeah if they don’t have a way to tell who’s your team mates they need to have a lot of customization options that allows team mates to distinguish eachother
Hopefully they give us better ways to differentiate between factions, if not indicators for friendlies. That and juicing the population up when the public comes in, should make it way better. Definitely a lot more fine tuning, changes in other areas as well. Oh yeah the heli camping seems silly too
Your team mates show up on your map even if they aren't in your party. But yeah the heli camping is going to need something, maybe for the ability of the people coming in on the heli to shoot or smoke goes off in the LZ all over the place and such.
It’s a huge problem that you can’t tell who are the enemies. I dunno, maybe different camps or armbands would be cool lol

On his map you can see that people in his faction are marked. If you aren't sure you can just check map and start blasting anything you see.

I cant stand games that don't have a way to tell who's a friendly or an enemy. I'm all for realism but this just seems like it'd be annoying to play just because you have to hesitate so much before you shoot. At least give people the option to wear an armband or change there clothes or something.

bright colored armbands and legbands is the solution for anti friendly fire

adapting is important here i hear they did have armbands in the play test before it released not sure why they removed em
I love games where you cant tell friend from foe. Makes you learn the homies movement patterns.
Looks good so far for a very VERY early build. What's with the reticles on the optics though haha, seems the player can see it well but somewhere in the compression for youtube it is just gone haha.
Summit and Hutch have always been especially terrible at spacial awareness when it comes to friendlies but different uniforms would help with that. I'd imagine they are working on it. I'm actually looking forward to the future of this game. I think it's something i'll really enjoy.
looks like complete shit for 2024 standards. Now for a 2016 release this would be promising.

Get out of here lol. This game isn't released yet either ("official release" = 1.0 version). This is a pre-alpha version. Does that mean that it will be good? No. Maybe you are right and after 2 or 3 years of development it's still shite. But considering this is everything they have so far for a pre-alpha, I'd say devs have the benefit of the doubt and hopes on my side.

@@_AriseChicken 10 y/o games are better than your "2024 standards" most everything being pumped out nowadays isn't good. Even the good ones are barely acceptable/playable. This game is simple and graphically satisfying, with more time we'll be able to tell if this is a flop, but it does look better than most of these dumpster fires being released to farm money. Any take from an Overwatch kiddie is irrelevant, so nvm.

I think a lot of the issues Landmark and Summit brought up are getting changed when the game releases, and I do agree some indicator to tell who's your faction and who's not your faction would be helpful. I think even Tarkov has indicators for that.

@@Snulge What simple times exactly? I remember 19Years ago in Call of Duty2 every weekend SgtDeath, who rage hacked and blasted Nazirock in the ingame lobby.
this game 10000% doesn't have the budget for a good anti cheat. They're just gonna use Easy anti cheat or something then flooded with cheaters. Every single fps game is having a cheater problem so this game is gonna be bad once released.
@@Snulge Nah cheaters have existed since og CS and even before that bro there was never a "simple time", unless you're talking about arcades or something.
@@betelgeuse_99 Arcades yeah but i'm talking like Xbox Halo 2 halo 3 days. Hacking was for sure a thing but it wasn't as profitable or as incentivized as it is now. Halo was only Xbox so that helped a ton.

The gun play looks iffy tbh, I feel like I've watched many a streamers "miss" shots they should've hit, or the AI seem to tank 5-10 bullets in the torso sometimes, a little weird, hopefully by the time it comes to the general public those problems won't be there anymore.

I'd take advantage of this being a new game and try to implement something like "design your uniform". Nothing crazy. A very basic "uniform builder" so you can maybe add some stripes, change colors of it. Something very very basic, but customizable enough that you can stand out and decrease the chances a lot of getting confused with teammates vs enemies. Options are finite though, so at some point maybe you'll run into someone that copied your uniform (on purpose or by coincidence) making funny clips of it.
The colored helmet was a good detail. Nothing major, but clear enough that you know that isn't your teammate. Perhaps you can design helmets instead of uniforms. I can already see people getting owned by an OwOKitty pink helmet guy.

You might not want that lol. The less the game has to do the better it runs and i'll take a better running game over a good looking one any day. Honestly though it's early early early in the build and i can't think of another multiplayer game that actually has well done foliage collision that isn't just the player pushing down the 2d grass lol.
The game desperately needs team indicators lol, 60% of the game is "is this you?!"

it feels like everyone is forcing themselves to pretend this game isnt a total snoozefest 😭 i was excited about this game early on but the release showed its practically all pve and thats what the devs want it to be
If you listen to more than 1 person you'd find out everyone went to the faction "csi" besides 10% of the players. So you have 16 people looking for 3 people of the other faction. Mr. Winkle has been in nothing but pvp due to not being on cso faction.... hope that helps

if you cant kill other players then this game wont be a succes we are pvp´rs we dont need only ai ai is good but real player versus player is better so if that is a rule for grayzone to not kill other players i will never play it and millioen others also wont
Do more research bud and honestly pay attention. It's PVEVP faction based. You can't kill people of your own Faction.
